100 year old sprinter

Beats sitting around in an armchair all day which is what most of us would be doing if we ever get to that age.

That's extremely impressive and IMO, it isn't just pushing yourself. By that age most people's bodies will have had it. Probably find he is genetically different somehow if scientists cared to research it.

A bit like the ultra marathon man, which took a tv program to discover after a short period of exertion. Lactic build up in him, actually starts dropping down to below his rest level.

has run his way to eight sprinting world records and is aiming to set another, when he takes part in the Toronto Marathon

Now that will be impressive! A Marathon at 100. Ouch. I wonder what kind of time he's aiming for.

he came last... he is crap ..

He may have been last in that race, but from the looks of the other guys running, they weren't in his age category. Makes a massive difference! :p

Born in India, yet is British but cant speak English

tbh his body is a genetically freakish, he only took up running at 89! A 90 year old man in my street is like him, always pottering about and saw him on this roof trying to fix a tile a few weeks back.

I admire people like this, **** sitting about waiting to die!

I remember seeing a very old chap on holiday years ago swimming lengths in the pool, very very fit for his age (I would even say fitter than the lot of us). That day I thought to myself I will be as fit as him at that age.
