tbh not looked forward to a game as much as cod 4 and that was one of my alltime fav games ever.

cant wait get a timer up :D still not pre ordered :eek:
 
i don't like have much love for Origin, mainly because i have steam, i would prefer to have one client for games if i do indeed have to have a client.
 
Me and my bro played some BF2 yesterday to kill some time waiting for this game, And wow that game feels pretty old now.

There are some things that are really good though, The map is very clear and the squads are easy to manage, But there obviously putting that into the release of BF3.

There are things that people say are really good in BF2 like the commander i actaully found really annoying after a while, Constant Enemy Infantry spotted gets annoying after a while. The hit detection can be pretty bad at time aswell.

But the most annoying thing by far is that we played for a total of 30 minutes yesterday for the first time in about 3 years on that game, And got banned for cheating, Just because we were killing the clan that own the server.. There are so many bad losers out there its unreal. Funny thing is i even have it on fraps :P

Ultimately though, you're going to have to face facts, you HAVE to use origin, that part is not optional, whoever you buy it from. Theres no getting around that, no matter how much Steam fanboys & the anti-Origin folks want that to change, its built into the game. You cant play Deus-Ex without Steam, its part of the DRM, just like BF3 will use Origin.

Erm no... We have to use battlelog, Origin just launches Battlelog. If it were available on STEAM we could just launch from there and access battlelog
