I was in the exact same position as you, bought a 990FX AM3+ mobo, waited on BD to come out and then *smack in the face*.
In the end I was seriously contemplating selling the mobo and switching over to intel, I could have set up with SB and jumped to Ivybridge and easily left AMD in the dust.
However, I decided that I had enough hassle and opted for the 1100T. So far it's been brilliant, great processor looking forward to gaming with it. And the bonus of sticking with AMD is we get to see how the BDs and Piledriver develops, if one of them turns out to be much better than we thought then it's easy to switch and the mobos will be the best for the job.
