This...

Farming low level herbs/ores can be very profitable as people want to power level various professions without taking up herbalism or mining.

Very true with leather as well ... pretty much all my toons on Terenas start off with skinning as a profession - you kill so many beasts in the early levels, it's basically free gold. Certainly enough to finance skill purchases and the odd gear splurge on the AH anyway ...

I can't be arsed to study the AH for hours on end - I just sell skins and any BoE drops from questing (that my class can't use) on the AH on a Friday night and by the time Sunday evening comes round, there's several hundred gold sitting in the mailbox. Last weekend was great in that regard - I made about 800-900 gold in less than 24 hours. Not a king's ransom to some players, but way more than I need while I'm levelling :)

Have wow installed on my pc but really not sure whether its worth starting to play for a couple months? I have played RIFT but want to give WOW a go considering its such a reputable game and i feel left out.

Anyone reckon its worth it for 2 months or so play?

EDIT: i have burning crusade expansion pack only

There's still fun to be had in WoW + TBC, however you will have this niggling feeling in the back of your head that your char progression will mean nothing in a couple of months and you are playing a game with a population that is rapidly decreasing.

Still, it's a great game.

Out of interest, do any of you buy loot codes? I play the WoW TCG and get loot fairly frequently but it mostly ends up lieing in a pile in my room as unless its the epic loot (new mounts etc) then they're kinda hard to shift.

I'll rummage tonight for some Llandros lil-xts etc if people want some free mini loots?

Cool ill give it a go in a second, now to find a social guild that i can bug for tips :P

you get in game codes from the trading card game?

I used one of the random loot cards, was hoping for spectral tiger (yeah right :p) or the purple campfire... Got them Hummel Pet Biscuits, prety cool but very limited :(

My mate got the path of cenarion or w/e its called, flowers whever he walks lol.

I'd be interested loot cards, sure most would be, but are you sure you don't wanna just bay em?

I normally buy some random wow items from tcg on ebay, less than £5 ones usually, trying to find that drake for cheap though :P

Started doing some BGs on paladin as ret. Really fun spec to play, just pray you don't see any mages or get sapped by any rogues. One I did yesterday... :D

Reset day means back to Firelands today though. Got Shannox and Baleroc down on Monday night, came very close on Beth and had a few attempts at Alysrazor. Hopefully we can get all 4 down tonight.

Whats the ui?

Yeah, make a search on ebay, lots of cool trinkets.

Deiwos, ever found a Spectral Tiger? ;)

I've won 2 tigers, sold them both for £400. Also had Mottled Drakes, Amani Dragonhawks, X-51s, Savage Raptors, El Pollo Grande and pretty much any lower loot from the recent sets.

I would ebay the cheap stuff but for the sake of a couple of quid for the little stuff and the hassle of selling on ebay I'll just chuck them your lots way.

You lucky lucky son of a..

I'll take something if it's going spare :)

I've been on the Ravencrest realm for a few days....the new OcUK guild doesn't appear to be very active.

I've rolled a new toon and have only seen 3 people in 3 days. Been on and off all day & not seen a soul :(

Was hoping a few people from the old realm might have xfered or re-rolled. I'll give it a few more days then will go back to my old realm.

What do you mean by won? won at auction or won through a trading card pack?

£400 seems about the going rate when I was checking on the bay, they certainly are nice and at one point I was close to buying one; but didn't quite click "buy it now".

Thats a cool collection you've acquired.

They're offered up as prizes in some tournaments.

Is that 600k gold i see? Holyyyyyyy... Nice ui aswell :)

Gold is pretty easy to come by at the moment. I have 7 farming routines, i just pick the one that's currently most profitable on the AH. Embercloth is always a great one, but fishing, milling and skinning are also hugely profitable. Usually do one of them for maybe an hour or two hours a night and pull in around 5k-7k in auctions.
