Downside is though that after having download the full game, it will be disheartening to carry on clicking the game and see nothing happening in the remaining week leading up to full game release date

We would be just a click away from playing full game :eek:

Is it possible that during heavy destructions/action/firefight, the cpu can be overloaded ?

My Q6600 usage was always around 95-99% while playing this game.

Yep, pretty much certainly. Release date is the 28th, that's when we'll get to play it.

Somehow I can't see it working, because of the interaction with battlelog. The front-end (battlelog) acts like one big anti-piracy tool.

It does but I'm pretty sure it passes some parameters to it to tell it which map to load as well as a few other things. I bet the exe'll have some sort of verification to check that is was launched by the browser too.

On a different topic, and I apologise if this has been asked before, but if I don't want to pay the £40 to pre-order it on origin and instead pre-order it from a different site that gives out keys, will I not be able to preload it on origin?

lol guarenteed as soon as its available it will work.

similar games that use a similar set up have been cracked this will be no different.if it just to play your own legit single player whats the problem
