cant wait to give my new cards there run for there money, however before

my CPU was not taxed at all.

CPU: 45% Usage (i7)
GPU - 99% always
2560x1600 - On High

Hoping for
CPU - 90%
GPU 99% on Both GPU's
2560x1600 ultrra? :eek::cool::D

The load on your CPU will only reach a certain level.

You aren't going to max out a 3ghz Core i7 with a game, because games don't need that much CPU power. Its all about graphics power.

If seeing nice full graphs massages your ego, under clock your CPU.

Ah looks like the single player is going to be short as i suspected. Was quite interested too after looking at some trailers. Never mind. Shame tho.

I found the beta to be more gpu dependant than cpu. though that could change in release version. Bfbc2 on the other hand is pretty cpu dependant, at stock the cpu is a serious bottleneck for me with multi gpu's.

Which of these machines will need upgrading the most to run BF3?

e8400 stock / 4gb ram / 4850 (512mb) x2
e8400 stock / 4gb ram / 280gtx
X6 1075 stock / 4gb ram / 5770

On the other hand, has anyone seen this excellent heli gameplay footage. He must be using joystick/analogue sticks pad. No way you can achieve such sharp and quick movements with K+M

Thats impressive heli skills. His comment on youtube says he uses k/board and mouse

Games will utilise as much CPU as they need.

does BC2 really max out a 3ghz Core i7 ?

Man a good chopper pilot and gunner just make me cream myself that is just so awesome.

I hope AT mines don't blow up choppers too much, that annoys me.
