For a start flying a chopper in BF2 is best with a mousesecondly I can own just as easily with a mouse and keyboard or a joystick in jets, believe me you have no clue who you're talking down to.

Agreed with using k/m for a chopper. Not a jet.

lol for choppers m@k is the way to go, all the cal player use it, I use it, it's more precise than a joystick. For jets a joystick is always preferred to k@m that's not to say you can't compete with a m@k in a jet.

Ofcourse each to their own but I personally can only control air vehicles effectively with joystick. It works for me in flight simulator aswell while trying to control jets or helis with K+M is tricky for me.

You're gonna need to put up the cash to go online anyway, I mean that's what it's all about it.

That helicopter video is pretty amazing considering couldn't of had much experience on the beta.

I'm interested to know how he was able to maintain such high speed flying forwards, often when I tried it you had to pitch the helo stupidly down.

They really need to let us adjust mouse sens for each vehicle type.

They get a small speed boost when using the sprint squad perk, you go much faster at ground level than at altitude, same with jets.

The chopper vid is nice and exactly how a chopper should be flown imo. Higher and you risk death from AA, Jets, Stingers. You may catch the odd tank shell if you get too close but its how I intend to use the attack choppers. Nice vid +1

Are there any of you who pre-ordered on origin, but their money hasn't been taken so far ?

What is bothering me is that if I pre-load this game on 21Oct, will the money be taken on this very day or will it be taken on 28 oct release day?


I pre-ordered on 17 August and the transaction hasn't appeared on my bank statement(s) so far.

Im in fun4all, with a good mix of euros and north American. It's going to be a learning curve but it will work.
