If you're referring to skidrow, it's fake.

clonedvd one

obvious everyone who downloads any leaked version is going to buy it for the MP anyway.

one of the few games that probably won't be affected by it, they should up the cost of VIP access in russia to cover the cost from retail copies being lost due to this and people just wanting the key for MP.

You NEVER get a sniper who knows what they are doing, who covers you when you run in on an MCOM, why strategically use mortars! They just sit back, shoot 10 shots for every one kill and then get PP'd by me! **** snipers! Get some skills!

Now that's a plain lie and you know it. I dicked over everything in the beta using the snipers, and the majority of that was playing in close-quarters ;)

I'd hate to be in a squad with a sniper. No need for them at all to win! Support, Assault - that is all that is needed. Sniper are usually idiots with no close-quarter firefight skills. If I spawn on a sniper miles back on BC2 hardcore, I usually TK him and move to a different squad. I hate them!

@Squad management - shame there is still only 4 slots

That's why it's called recon class and not sniper. You likely fall into the same trappings as all the noobs that play it and call themselves sniper. In BF3 they have a lot of useful tools at their disposal for the team, and they don't have to take a rifle either. Adapt your play style to incorporate the class into the team, rather than striking the class off because you fail at it. Are you also seriously suggesting a team has no use for engis?

Sniper can be good but most of the time there playing a sniper because they dont have the skill to push in with there team so they pick the safe option of sitting miles away picking off randoms.

Rush on metro was a perfect example, The amount of times i played a round were 90% of there team are sitting back sniping was unreal, They normally wouldnt even take the first obj because the people on there team pushing up have no support so they get owned.

Everyone complains about people not spotting, the recon is the perfect class for it and has a gadget that is arguably one of the most useful of all the classes for team play.

Does anyone know if Amazon UK are offering BF3 Digitial download? I can only seem to find it on the US based site.

Please feel free to trust me the link over :)

offtopic think I'll settle on recon, able to provide support with gadgets when I need to but if the team is ***** I can go off and be capable alone :D just the way i like it

I'd hate to be on your team, you need to play all classes to adjust to different situations.

Not really, simply changing your class loadout for the situation should be enough if the rest of your team playing their roles are doing what they're supposed to. I think you'll find the majority of BF players stick with one class.

I agree with Wes. Important bit in bold. How often are you going to be in a team where a) there's a decent mix of classes and b) each one of those people are doing what they're meant to be? Answer - rarely, if ever.

Therefore it's better rather to be flexible in terms of what classes are low in numbers for any given map / battle, than resolutely remaining as a single class no matter what. Besides which, it's more fun playing a variety of classes as the gameplay changes in nature.

You're assuming that he's going to be in a "random" team and not a team with his friends...

I've always played BF within a group of friends and we all stick to a class/role.

Random teams? Who gives a **** what class/role you're playing then...

A recon is no more useless than a support who won't drop an ammo pack, or an assault who won't revive or toss down a health kit.

Inevitably you're going to have some friends missing on some days, need to fill in the missing roles, have some new people, etc. etc. Besides, what about my point about variety and fun? Fun is still important in this game right?

If you're just playing public, sure. But I'm certain I'll be enjoying the competitive side moreso, where you likely would only use one class...

This:

...didn't really make it sound like the competitive side was where Deific was coming from.

Yes, but someone can have fun using one class as much as someone mixing them...
