Is it me or have tyre prices gone bonkers lately? I can't find tyres for under £200 fitted, a few years back I was paying £160 fitted for the same tyres
And does anyone else find the pricing structures bizarre? A 235/45/17 AS2 is £105, yet a 265/35/18 AS2 is £100 more expensive. Is there really twice as much rubber in the slightly larger tyre?
Grrrrr.
Where do you live? I frequently see this on internet forums, and believed it until i started getting quotes for tyre fitting myself. I think the cheapest i found for £12 PER WHEEL.
Value toilet rolls burn you so that alone upsets me that people use the stuff!
Why do some of you buy such expensive tyres?
Affordable motoring is now something not for the faint hearted.
Meanwhile, decent, on par with most other "internet great tyres", come the Vred Ultrac Sessantas in 275/35R19 for the princely sum of £175 each. Fitting round here for me is £15 for 4 or £5 each.
where for that price?!?
255/30/19 are £230 from camskill for me, the same price as F1A2 practically.
