Gears of War 3 Dated (Official blah blah)

Yeah i've always thought the scorcher should be more powerful plus you should burn over time or something. The oneshot is still on Mercy along with the mortar.

Looking forward to a few new maps.
 
Can understand why they moved the stuff on Sandbar though, the HoD / Oneshot is just not tempting enough to track all the way down the beach, so combat always ended up in the same choke point up the top.

Having Torque Bow / Boomshot down on the beach, and Digger up the top would be better.

Finished off Insane mode and the 4-player Co-Op achievements :D

For those stuck on Act V Ch 6, deffo do it solo, sooooo much easier.

Then I went back and did Ch 1 & 6 on 4 player in Casual mode, such a refreshing change charging in Rambo stylee after the stress of Insane mode :D

Now onto the collectables! I think I am missing 10 collectables, and 3 Dog Tags.

Gears of War 3 DLC 'RAAMs Shadow' has been announced by Epic Games.

The bonus campaign is set before the original Gears of War and enables players to control General RAAM, the final boss from the first game.

Clocking in at roughly three hours, the bulk of the campaign will see players control COG team Zeta squad, fronted by Michael Barrick from the Gears of War comic book series.

Zeta Squad are tasked with evacuating Ilima City, while protecting its citizens from a Locust Kryll storm led by General RAAM.

Barrik's squad also features Lt. Minh Young Kim from the original game, Tai Kaliso from Gears of War 2 and brand new female character Alicia Valera.

In addition to fighting as a new squad of Gears, the action will switch to General RAAM's perspective, as he storms the human stronghold with his mighty Kryll shield.

The DLC also contains six new multiplayer characters, the 'Chocolate Weapon Set' and an additional 250 Gamerpoints.

Very much looking forward to this, hopefully it'll be a lot better than the campaign DLC they released for Gears 2
 
It will be interesting to see how they have implemented the Kryll shield! I think it's time for the season pass to be purchased.
 
Heres my worry. That DLC is due Dec 13th. It sounds awesome but that's half the DLC for the season pass released. It's not unimaginable to think that by April they will have released all four intended DLC and be looking at another season pass?

I was expecting 4 spread over the year, not one a month!
 
I am itching and I mean really itching to get my hands on the Horde DLC. That can't come quick enough. :D But I thought Microsoft's rule was that only one piece of DLC is allowed per quarter. Unless they have relaxed that for their Epic bumchums.
 
Unless the quarter ends at the end of november and then they have the next one for the first month in the new quarter?

I can't wait for the horde DLC, everything is upgraded and I keep giving my money away to Wyrdo.
