Well i was suppose to be doing blyton on the 5th november and brands on the 3rd december, but i left it too late and brands has sold out Decided to do snetterton on the 10th november instead of blyton, really looking forward too it as it seems a great track. Ordered some goodies today..

been offered the one in Newcastle and seriously thinking about it, any thoughts?
I know wheel bearing needs done but as usual its my lack of mechanical knowledge to go and view and assess it as it'll only be me and partner going.

It's also not Snell certified, so if any track days decide to check, you won't be allowed to use it.
Its completely fine for track days in a closed car, on a bike it would be a completely different story. Its a good job its not SA as i wouldn't be able to use it in the UK. You need either BS or ECE, and the one i got is the latest ECE2205

Think that's about what my bicycle helmet cost!I'm a great believer in not skimping on helmets, spend as much £££ as you value your head at is what I was told! <Looks at Bell crash helmet bag the other side of his bedroom>
That said, if you're after good value for money have a look at Hedtec. £150 gets you a Snell SA2010 approved one, and they're actually damn good for the money. Plus Ed's a good bloke too!

I really want to, but I think it's my lack of mechanical knowledge is putting me off. It's the colour I want*, at a reasonable price £1750 (although CS.net said it was overpriced) I think I am just too paranoid/scared in case I buy a carp one. =[

*I know that's a bit of a girls way to view it, but been looking for one for that long obviously going to jump at the chance of buying one.

Finally managed to get some heat into the tyres tonight so decided to have some fun and see just how grippy they are. Absolutely no wheel spin off the mark (had loads with the PE2's). Make of the video what you will, i make it just over 5s, (youtube says the video is 6s because the video is 5.2s long)
