Always sticking loyal to Ocuk, Can't wait going to be the longest 10 days ever!
I know how you feel. I've been looking for something to pass the time, but think I will lose all access to PC once Sims 3 Pets come out
Call me fussy, but the battlefield 3 version of the map, isnt there just a bit too much tree's and green, not enough sand and brown, and it looks too clean to look like a run down city in the middle east?

I think you'll find there are plenty of nice green trees in urban areas in the middle east.
The BF2 ones look like there is a permanent sand storm going on. Hmmm maybe that would be a good idea for BF3 and the new engine, create a sandstorm blowing through the maps occasionaly!

So did Steam when that was forced on gamers in order to play Half Life 2.
Though I had more faith in Valve to sort it than I do with EA.

Is Origin still beta? Interesting if so. Surely they have to finish Origin before BF3 is released?! A game like BF3 released on a beta platform...

I too hate Tree's and "green" in my FPS, i own on metro under ground and get owned in the park area at the start!

Why on earth would you like the map to look all bland and low resolution like a game of 6 years old ?
I've joked before about people wanting BF2 just to be re released on the new engine and this is a case in point.
Things move on ! if you want it to look like that, go play BF2 and it will look exactly how you want it.
Haha it's simply a reference to my PP magic in BC2. When BF3 hits, I'll make another... or ask someone with better photoshop skills to make me one
And if I remember rightly, the PP was good... just not as good for me as the M249!

Everything comes into play that far. Humidity elevation, temp, winds, spin-drift. There's a 6-10 second flight time so you have to shoot it where the targets going to be. Even the coriolis effect, the spin of the earth comes into play

any idea of spec needed to run this game on a pc please people. I am going to buy it on PS3 but tempted with the PC version though.
