Single player maybe, I guarantee you you're not getting LA noire type facial expression in multi-player, gnashing teeth is the extent it will go to, if that.

single player will be a massive movie scripted affair just like bops but because its not cod people will go ooooh thats awesome :rolleyes:

mp is what you buy this game for leave the auto cue at home

I nearly always play the SP version before going online. I find i can enjoy it better, maybe even helps me get used to it.
Just my way i guess.

Flares are still an unlock. But they are at 300 points.

That's better, 300 points should not be that hard to get for flares unlock.

I enjoyed the single player in BFBC 2 because of the banter between the squad. Especially that redneck Texan. Some of the dialogue was genuinely lol worthy.

John Lennon flying the chopper was pretty cool also.

Likewise, in fact I don't think I even bothered with MP on MW2, BC2, Black Ops. I'm hoping BF3 will be more up my street...

I liked the single-player from BC2, purely for the scripting & banter like RedDanDoc pointed out.

Generally I like to play the SP through on games too, but one game I've never done that with, was BLOPS. Fired it up & thought at what point do I get to control what I'm doing. Felt like I was on a roller-coaster with all the scripting.

Yeah the single player was good, blowing the crap out of everything. It looks quite nice as well.

I just find it a bit strange that people won't touch the SP mode of some FPS games. Sure there has to be scripts to follow, some do 'non-linear' better than others, but when i get hacked off with all the kiddies/noobs on MP, i know i can rely on good ole SP to give me some baddie killing relief.

SP in bc2 is atrocious though, I couldn't make myself play much of it because it was so poor

To be honest iv never played a single player on any fps game lol.

well, half life 2 if that counts from half life 2 death match? haha.

apart from that never played any of the single players.

Edit: i tell a lie, crysis cause the multiplayer sucked, thats it.

I buy games for the online multiplayer. I've never been into the single player aspect. That's why I don't have a long list of bought games.
