Dale Farm Cleared Tomorrow?

I thought dale farm was an ice cream maker and it was to be cleared because it had e-coli

imagine my surprise when I read it was actually about the displacement of a small number of travellers. Wow slow news day!

I bet the "Legal Observers" aren't taking the names of the people throwing bricks and worse at the police officers.

Considering the state of our prison numbers, it would only make our problems worse, we cant literally fill our prisons to 100%, the police would fail to work beyond that.

May be thats the problem too?

We need more prison and tougher condition for the prisoners. Say that the human right prevent that....

Hahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahaha!!!!!

You're kidding right? :D Why would they do that?

The only politics on the matter was the EUs recognition of the "ethnic" group, other than that its been mostly a law matter.

Are you saying law has nothing to do with politics?

Do you not realise the repercussions of the "law" allowing this site to exist? It makes a mockery of the planning permissions and would invalidate any case currently being denied such permissions, which comes down to a political issue in parliament. To say its not political is ludicrous.

For all the celebrations coming from residents, and all the hand-wringing from the cultural marxists, isn't the reality that the actual travellers themselves aren't all that bothered? They're happy to kick up a fuss (or more accurately, get other people to kick up a fuss for them) because it will make future councils think twice before evicting an illegal traveller site, but in reality they just have to find another area to fleece and whether they do that at a legal site or set up a new illegal one, it doesn't really matter to them.

Exactly what I was saying. They'll just move on and set up elsewhere.

What I don't understand is why so many people are willing to move in and defend them in such a fashion.

If they're "travellers" let them travel... can't stand the fact that they think they're owed the land they live on. Though I'm sure now they've been moved on things will start to go missing.

I don't mind them settling in legally designated areas, but effectively squatting on private land is absolutely not on in my opinion.

Not been keeping updated with this,so have they moved them on yet?

I dont see the point in moving them though to be honest, they will just go elsewhere and cause more hastle and mess.

Because they will protest about building roads on greenbelt land, but also protest that these scumbags should be able to do what they want, including build on greenbelt land

Yeah, stupid.

I see your point...but no.

Why won't tescos just let me keep on walking out of their shop with those 32" tellys? Whats wrong with that =/

nice that its finally happening, whilst im sure they are somewhat upstanding citizens of england they dont pay **** for their property and that in my opinion is not on.

"It could end very badly. Reporter Richard Alleyne at Dale Farm says one protester has locked his neck to the scaffolding which is rocking precariously."

meh.. natural selection.
