Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

In a queue for EA live chat. I just want them to change my stupid EA I.D to my Battlefield persona.

Not holding out much hope. Got all my BF stats lined up to hit them with so they can see how much time I have put into the series.

Stupid stupid EA. :mad:
 
Anybody know what the situation is when it comes to hard copies of the game. If you sell them on can that person play single player without a key?

For example, what if you bought the game 2nd hand for £10, then bought an online pass for £10 (if such a thing exists for PC like it does on console) it'd be cheaper than getting it new (with the exception of Karkand expansion).

You have a perfect gaming cpu and a decent gpu, of course you can play it. Just turn off AA for some extra frames. I tried AA on and off in the beta and could not see any difference in image quality.

At what res :confused:

he aint playing with high at 1920 with a 460 its not recommended

he should be ok for 1680x1050 and med settings maybe

also depends on what fps you like or call acceptable :confused:

i dont call 30 fps playable in fps games 60 fps is what i call minimum for smooth action.
 
So, about to order a 6870 to add to my i3 2100, 4gb ram system in the next few days, was looking at a GTX460 but a 6870 only works out about £20 more for a fair bit more performance. Will probably add another in Xfire once I get round to building a proper rig come feb/march. Right choice?

Also, really want to pre-order on origin, but would rather pay a bit less than £40, tried getting a birthday code but it didn't work :(
 
6870 was fine on medium/high in beta for me 40+fps on caspian and 90+ in metro 50+ outside

I have a 6970 now and ill kill the gfx to whatever i need to get a decent 60+fps damn the eye candy

tbh it was probably done more to get the dog to go to the game

If they didn't put some in, the dog probably never would have touched the games. I know mine wouldn't.

The video doesnt really show if they put biscuits in both.
