Is there any point getting this if I'm still on a dual core? She's currently clocked at 3.3GHz but I could probably push 3.8.

This is good, running simular specs on a 6990, did you get problems in the beta, low FPS spikes, generally not good on ultra, unplayable in a few places from time to time?

No reason why not. Multiplayer is fine with a dual core and a 460 gtx for me, just need to turn the settings down a bit on the bigger maps like Caspian Border.

Its been on the torrent sites just over a couple of hours and already 2000+ people downloading, on a game like this they should be shot :rolleyes:

Well I can safely say it's amazing!

I think it was Tehran Highway(sp?) I was playing, and it really felt like the Battlefield we know and love, except with heli's coming down, jets crashing and stuff generally exploding left right and centre.

Amazing.

I think the problem is that DICE left it too wide open in allowing us to play 64 people on those maps.

The maps like seine crossing and damavand peak should not be played with more than 48 on conquest and maybe 32 on rush imo.

DICE did say they were leaving it to the players to find the best combinations.

How are people playing? Have pre orders on origin meant that people can play through that or have that "aqquired it". The reason I ask is that i pre ordered from an internet site and a bit annoyed if origin players have gotten it early.
