Anyone like the idea of starting a mobile island community?

If a bunch of us do what this guy did and attached it to a small boat, we could create a mobile island community and travel anywhere we like living independently.

It can be done quite cheaply and has the potential to grow into something quite good, imagine getting to visit lots of nice warm locations, growing and catching your own food, while still keeping a technologically advanced way of life, low power devices are easy to run, laptop with satellite internet pretty much covers communication and entertainment.

I've even got some ideas on how we can create lots of energy cheaply from the wind and waves by encircling the islands with energy harvesters, which would also have the added benefit of making the inner area calm.

Food - Fish
Water - Evaporator
Power - Wind
Heat - Coat/Electrical heat
Healthcare - If you get too weak you give your life up by slitting your own throat and jumping overboard, the rest of the community can then feast on shark.

edit - What's that cartoon? Where the animals escape from the zoo (their transport ship is caught in a storm), they find themselves on a floating island powered by lava (yeah I know, where does the lava come from if they're floating?!), they then spend there time getting into adventures and trying to find the mythical land of Diamontina.

I think the UK already floats on a pile of old **** TBH Every time I go to the beach there's always piles of washed up plastic bottles, crisp packets, carrier bags etc. It all makes perfect sense now!

We need some leaders though , I was thinking asim and kwerk as they have access to firearms. Let's face it, those Arstechnica kids are going to get jelly.

Could work , though we are going to have a serious lack of mating partners. Our initial strategy might have to involve taking some women from the other Islands, pretty sure the Orkney isles won't mind.
