Who's still on I7 1366?

I have a 980x on 1366

Don't need anything faster for some time. Will see what Ivy bridge contents with but may even wait until the gen after ivy personally for me.

I have a 980x running @ 4012 on 1366 ( and I don’t do overclocking), it’s so fast and hasn’t let me down once will maybe upgrade next year and Ivybridge, but as I said in a previous post might upgrade if and I repeat if the Intel x79 comes out in both the 2011 and 1366 formats.

Time will tell :D:D:D

Still on my 920. Stock speeds, just like it quiet with an H50 on there. The x58 platform for me has been very stable, and very good :)

It won't.

Still happy with my Q6600!

Going to wait until a decent octo-core comes out at a reasonable price.

Could be waiting a while!

amazing how long those Q6600 have lasted to be honest, they are still alright even now. had to get rid of mine due to the fact two cores kept 'disappearing' and my motherboard had to damaged ram slots, so went with a 1055T, new for <£80 and a surprisingly decent ASrock motherboard, what ever happened to the days when ASrock were considered bad boards? this one is fantastic little thing and overclocks surprisingly well for the cost, plus it looks snazzy with black and chrome water-cooling with blue dye and silver kingston ram modules (even though they are called grey!).

mate of mine has LGA 1366, 920, still awesome chips that will be fine for a good few years to come yet, can't see anything really troubling them anytime soon! :)

The only real upgrade will be Socket 2011, and that will be costly. Depends what you're using the system for, even the i7 920 has plenty of life in it (if you can overclock).

Sat here on the 920 @ 4GHZ and money burning a hole, Skipping the SB-E as itll be stupid money and so will the Quad Channel Ram, waiting for the Ivy which I dont think will be far behind and half the price, then will jump on Socket 2011 for the IB-E.

went from a socket 939 x2 3800 to my current 1366 system so ill probably stick with it for another 5 years or so unless I find its running far too slow at some point.
