Plus everyone else will be running around with super weapons, vehicle unlocks and body armour
hehe, so you have to buy this game on release. If you buy this game a few months down the line you can't play it as everyone will be super done up? It will be the same as bc2, it is not that hard to own people with upgrades. Hell I prefer to own people with better stuff then me. Makes the game more of a challenge. I only started bc2 6-7 months ago and I did just fine. Rank 25 and I don't play everyday/night. Just a couple of hours when I feel like it.
Not had many problems either. 1 lockup earlier on. If I get lag I can move on. Mibbe ill get the next guy the same way. Not saying its acceptable in the long term but I don't rage at a game

I can agree with this, I've scored highly in ranked games for reviving and healing people, with à low k/d. No one else seems to give a **** About reviving me. It annoys me how easy it Is for Snipers to get a kill. They just prone (completely out the way)like a boring bunch, purely just for a decent k/d ratio. Only played the game for 5 hours so far. Gave up playing tonight.
I have clocked up about 8 hours total on the game and here are some further thoughts:
- Game crashes to desktop every 30 mins or so, have tried both IE and Firefox and the result is the same
- Much prefer 32 player games as 64 player is too mental
- Scopes appear to be buried at a much higher level un-lock for engineer
- Flares appear a little "too" effective against the stinger, rendering the stinger pretty useless and the missile itself is too slow
- No optical zoom by default on the AA tank - doh!
The servers do lag from time-to-time, I stick to servers which are sub-20ms ping.
Looking forward to the first patch!

Almost every game is like this, kids are playing they get over excited, week or two and it will all start to settle down.

It isn't so much that, it is that this is the first game i have EVER bought on release in order to properly play the multiplayer, i thought it would be a nice change to actually play the game from the start and start on an even footing with everyone, i will have the same time to get to know the maps, unlock some decent upgrades etc.....
And then everyone goes and uses VPN to unlock it early, so even when getting it on release day I will start behind everyone else!!
tbh, i am not that bothered really as i am hardly a serious player, i probably won't put much time in to it anyway

Lol, ive seen worse games on release, (and this isnt even "officially" out yet). Tried with medium settings, still the same stuttering issue, hopefully therell be a fix along shortly. Very impressed with the game.
I agree. In the beta I was going around with it in the daylight taking enemies out so easily. I would like it removed myself.
had some good rounds on the tfu server tonight, even managed to kill lots of ocuk peeps

Have they not always said BF3 will have a patch on day one? ie proper release day the 28th? I am sure I have seen this many times on the net. Or is that rubbish I wonder.
