I find the most annoying thing is getting killed by like 2 bullets, Maybe im just abit of an old school fps player but i feel you should be able to have a bit more of a fight before you die..
 
For years I've said, im not bothered about getting a new graphics card just for DX11, but since my 4870x2 died and I was forced to buy a new one I have been totally blown away by the tessellation and lighting effects and I'm especially glad I went for the 3gb version of the GX580!
I've seen so many people say, 'You don't need 3gb for a single display setup!' But this and Rage and Crysis 2 are pushing 2gb at some places and what good is a 1.5gb version :confused:

This game runs amazingly and looks simply stunning! I read something a while back saying that you need 2 GTX580's in SLI to get the most out of this game, but im running at 1920x1200 with everything set to Ultra and fps runs at around 45+

First Rage (am I the only one who didn't have any graphics problems with it!?) and now this. Everything looks so crisp and clear and real and the characters movement and facial expressions and everything .... its just amazing :D



























Unfortunately there a some rather irritating control problems im having with it, the worst being the 'Inverted Mouse' option.

If i select Inverted Mouse it sets the mouse to Normal.... so in fact Normal is Inverted :/ But then when I'm in a vehicle or on a mounted gun.... its not inverted!? It's totally ruined some parts of the game for me as I really cant get my head round mouse forward being up :(
Same goes for multi-player, I'm constantly having to re-adjust my brain when i switch between being on foot and in vehicles.

The other one, I've always used Mouse wheel Down as next weapon .. but theres no option to change it from Up ... or is there, anyone know?

Oh and could they have made the Key Bindings screen anymore annoying to use! Firstly you cant use the mouse wheel to scroll down, then when u change a key the screen jumps up! Is that supposed to be helpful?

arent there individual invert settings for all vehicles? .

Pre-ordered on the 24th, recieved dispatch email on the 26th, then got it this morning, guess i'm just lucky, yours should come tomorrow, enjoy it.:cool:
 
Installed CAP4 with already installed 11.10 Preview 3 and getting really bad stuttering:



This is worse than CAP3! I'm gonna uninstall all drivers and start from scratch (11.10 Pre3 then CAP4)
