Why the hell does it ask you to download 11GB of files when you are trying to install from disc wtf?.......or is it just me?

Grrr, got my copy just got home and im getting page cannot be displayed when trying to just activate it! :mad:

Yep

I guess its the issue of everyone in europe activating it along with all the uk players getting it early too. Sad that EA couldnt have expected this.

It should 'download' it off the disc. Check the transfer speed

I had that, it should say install rather than download I think, a bit confusing because when I clicked ok I didnt know if it was going to download instead of installing from the DVDs but it did install from the DVDs

There's an official announcement saying they're working on the issue on the battlelog forum. Let's hope they sort it soon.

Is it to do with Origin crash ?

Don't know about crashing, it's about the Origin Activation servers being down.
