Thinking of buying this on Origin now so i can leave it to download while i sleep and hope the activation thing works when i get home tomorrow.

Did i read somewhere in this thread about a promo code i can use on origin?
 
Anyone else noticed Origin take long to get to the login screen after launching it? Also after clicking on BC3 it takes aaaaaaages to open Battlelog in my browser. Is Origin under too much load or something?

Is that what people in the UK have in their PC game boxes? I have two pieces of paper. One with the bonus code on and something else advertising EA Gun Club. Nothing else. Checked for stickers in the game box, on the CD and nothing. :(

Is the bonus code also the game serial?
 
ahhh well back to CSS for a while i guess, cheers origin or whoever is to blame:( off work tomorrow to go to a wedding....might be a l'il bit late;)....assuming that this gets sorted:rolleyes:
 
Humm this is strange. I got the cannot activate thing, clicked the cross at the top of the activation window, my game list refreshed and I now have a Bad Company 2 in my game list. WTF!?!?!?!

Indeed i am in the UK and have the bonus code and this seperate code on the installation instructions......

It's pretty sweet. Once it's deployed the mini-map expands and you aim through that. It has a very wide range so if team mates spot enemies then you can rack up some nice kills. They aren't girly little explosions either :D I've only used it once but I wasn't sure how to actually go off the mortar once it's deployed. It seems your position is constantly shown on the map so you need to fire it from a well defended position or you just get owned.
 
Grrrrrrrrrrr. So there I was, Monday, watching everyone on here doing the Korean thing, thinking "maybe I should cancel my Pre-order and just do what these guys are doing"?

But no. I'm an honest John. So more fool me.

What a complete and total cluster **** this is.

My pre -order from Game dropped through the letterbox this morning and I've spent the whole fricking day trying to activate the stupid thing.

Never. Evah. Again!
