FXAA works with any game apparently and almost no fps loss (works with gta4)

Was anything in your gfx card drivers been set to forced aa perhaps?

Also i heard some games may need to have it in some other folders well the shader file at least, not 100% sure on that tho.

Says in the readme "do not use this tool while playing on anti cheat enabled servers".

twist3d0n3, I'd be careful using it with Left 4 Dead/a VAC enabled game, mate.

I've just tried it with GTA4 and the difference is night and day on a 46" screen. Well chuffed. Thanks for sharing, Broken Hope and SkeeterUK.

Why would you use it with L4D anyway, this game runs at constant 100+ fps and can use up to 8xMSAA.

It's great for games like Mass Effect or GTA 4 that don't support any form of AA natively.

Works nicely in STALKER: CoP :)

Normal game, no mods or anything:

Hard to see in screenshots, but the in game difference is quite substantial. I'd say it's about the same as 4x normal AA.

THe compression of the JPG makes it blurred anyway but if you look at the bit of branch that's almost vertical, just to the 10 O'clock of the crosshair, you'll see that FXAA makes it quite a bit smoother :)

eyefinity; with 8xAA it goes a bit stuttery due to me only having 1Gb of vram per gpu
