Good game is good, but I'm just off the OcUK servers and the lack of teamplay in some of the squads is rageworthy!

I was on a rush map earlier and nobody else thought to switch to engineer when we were getting pasted by the Littlebird, Huey and the amphibious APC until we were practically down to the last set of MCOMs.

Does it not say "update available" in the game manager for anyone else?

Its installed but game manager says there is an update available. I press update and it goes to the BF3 store page, even though I already have in in 'my games'

Bronken server is lovely, not just saying that - but no lag at all, nice and full and good games as well.

This worked for me. Switched off upnp and updated punkbuster and now no more black screen after map load.

Not sure which it was, might try switching upnp back on as I need it for my ps3.

Just finished playing on bronkens server, fun games. Have to take a break as apparently I have to eat

Could we not get a sticky of some good reliable servers to meet up on as well to save people from asking all the time

I dont like how the game feels more raggedy than say BC2 which feels smoother when you jump pver obstacles and when you swim etc.. i dont know how to describe the BF3 sensation but its like...a bit stiff and wooden in some respects in how your character acts...

liking it but still.

Managed to speed up my installation from 500kbs to 7mb/sec by pausing and resuming the install.

Alan Kerts, Battlefield 3′s Gameplay Designer, reveals that “pistols will be getting a bit of love in the near future.” A slight improvement in the damage department for pistols is certainly welcome. After nerfing the UMP since the beta, Kerts admitted ”it [UMP] got the nerf bat pretty hard. Gave it back some power today. I’ll be playing to monitor balance.” The UMP is unlocked at level 16 and can be used on all kits.

Some fans have been outspoken about the effectivity of the jets asking for improvement. One fan expressed his concerns to Fredrik Thylander demanding “they [jets] need a buff.” Thylander, Senior Designer at DICE, confirmed “they [jets] are getting it [the buff].”

Incoming buff for the UMP, pistols and jets.

HELP!!

Ive been playing fine all week, and connectied to a server fine this afternoon, but now when i try to join a server it gets stuck on the connecting part, just sits there forever, anyone else had this? If so have you found a solution?
