What's the consensus on playing CDM's as CB's? Thinking of just sticking Lassana Diarra at CB for a few games to see how he goes, he's only short but he has good defensive stats and will be pretty fast for a CB.

He also helps in attack, which can be a bad thing depending how you play or what formation you have. Alves is who you really want though. Such a beast.

Pepe/Albiol has been a solid duo for me..... but Pique/Pepe is better.

Tell you what, I'll give you a spare Pique for free. He isn't selling for me and I don't need the coins. Put up a player, tell me all his info and I'll just give you him.

EDIT: Crap, just put him up on auction by accident. Give me an hour and he'll probably expire. Put him up for 60k and he still doesn't sell. If he does sell for 60k, I'll just give you the 60k. Deal? :)

the fact i just scored 6 headers in my last game against short CB's i would say no.

also the game before that i scored 2 headers within 7 mins of game time and the guy quit.

the guys i find tougher to header against are the taller CB's, serie A and bpl especially.

anyone else finding this game far too easy to score in?

ive been scoring all types of goals but heading is far too easy, i get them in corners, crosses, chips inside the box, etc. ive even had slow headers trickle past keepers when placed right in the corner. far too easy, keepers barely move.

also ibrahimovic is a tank, anytime ive come up against him, no matter what i do he just barges through players and his shots are unsaveable. even though i managed to contain players like rooney, augero, tevez, torres, IF Van Persie no problem, ibrahimovic just barges through them all.
 
great night for me opening packs tonight

opened 6 packs and got the following

lavezzi fetches a fair bit

neymar

ashley cole

kaka

and a inform ballotelli this guy only fetches about 50k realistically looking at auctions but the kids were desperate for him and offered me torres for my spanish team so i kindly said yes thankyou job done

Headers shouldn't be that much of a threat unless it's from corners as I usually chase their wingers down or at least put pressure on the crossers.
 
also got that silver guy biabiany everyone is putting silly 12000 bin on his head i didnt realise and just banged him on at 150 start this late at night someone getting a bargain lol

his pace is ridiculous too, impossible to catch.

this whole new tackling system has made 1-2's far too effective. tbh the tackling system doesn't even work. all you can do is jockey and hope the other person messes up. holding R1 only opens your team up and leaves players in amazing positions with no cover. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

i have given away a few penalties, no idea how? they just happen. yet sometimes my player is bodychecked/obstructed whilst making a run, i play a through ball and i get nothing.

this new engine has a fair few flaws in it.

also getting a lot of injuries lately, i think due to bodychecks.

you need neymar and pato up front (ridiculously good combo)

robhino maybe as a super sub.

i had a guy score a 35 yarder with pato against me, i never even saw it coming, i had no idea he could do that, so i never pressured him.

mind you the one i scored with anelka was 10 times better.

now i see you have changed the link and its a completely different team with Ronaldo in it

Ronaldo is another one of those players which makes scoring far too easy. Its like taking candy from a baby. you just aim and shoot. or run, run, run and cross/shoot.
