Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

I'm a bit under-whelmed by the Game Play to be honest. My main issues are - Online to play an offline campaign, the single player mode keeps crashing on me, I HATE the console style "press 'X' to block the attack" crap and the game is too much cut-screen with no option to go "off route" on maps, the multi-player is too COD-like and I miss the option to run around with bots learning the maps rather than being dumped in-game and having to learn on the fly whilst dying a lot.

But the graphics are nice!
 
Can somebody please clarify about the PWP?

I received my dvd copy yesterday and installed waiting for 0000 hrs to hit for activation. I entered my PWP code in before activation - now, i cant see any of the pack in BF3 when in game. I have tried inputting the code since and says it has been redeemed.

Is there a way i can check its been redeemed and ready for me to use? Have i screwed it up by putting in the code before activation?

You can switch origin to offline and play without entering battlelog
 
Not sure what to make of it yet. Getting 55+ FPS which is nice with everything set to high. Just turned down the HBAO to SSAO and turned on ultra textures and ultra detail.
It does look nice :-D

However, I just feel "Lost" a lot of the time, not sure where I'm meant to be as such.

Really missing a 'microphone' option.. I can't see one?
 
I take it I have to be logged into origin to be able to play online? My pc crashed when I was exiting a game so restarted and could not log into Origin. I am logged into Battlelog just fine, I just cannot connect to any servers.

forgotten the one drawback of my oc'd GTX480

I'm sweating buckets here - it doesn't half give a load of heat out - its heating whole room
 
I have a few questions...

How do you change the helicopter view so its not on the right hand side? I want it directly behind like the beta and BF2

Green flashes still exist, has thisstill not been sorted out? It was one of the main bugs in the beta

What are the OcUK server IPs? (and passwords if needed)

I was playing till 5am yesterday. Girlfriend woke up due to me forgetting to open the window. I ended up in a ****storm because of it. I won't forget tonight :)

Just search OCUK on the search function, untick everything else. Then favourite what you like.
