Mine does to, but adding AA drops the frameratesMy 6950 seems to handle Ultra fine, vsync off.
The engine is pretty damn impressive and the game looks incredible.
Is getting 40-60 fps at ultra settings really classed as struggling these days? As long as you don't have Deferred AA enabled and you're at 1080P or less a single 5870 is fine.
It is when you can see stuttering.
5870's are struggling to run this, really annoyed, might invest in a 580.
Honestly can't say I've seen any stuttering, even on 64 player maps.

Why?
Well something amazing has happened.
Earlier today my performance was mediocre with medium/low settings, I have now nearly maxed out the game aside from no aa and its as smooth as silk.
Q6600 @ 3.4GHZ
4GB RAM
Ati 4870 512mb
My 4870 soldiers on!
id say too high res for them cards and if 1gig vram like mentioned above.
