no, when i win i usually win by 5 goals, if the other guy gets goals usually they are the type which are impossible to defend against, so you can do nothing to prevent them.

its easier to score 35 yarders.

its easier to score finesse shots.

its easier to score headers.

its easier to score chip shots.

they have made defending harder and it easier to score, which basically means good players (like me) run riot every game.

my last game had a i had a 6 goal lead, the game before that i was 2-0 up within 7 minutes before the guy quit.

it's far too easy to score and im using crap players, the top guy in my team is my GK rated 84, everyone else is 83 or under with several below 80 in my teams. the average rating is about 81.

if i had a team rating of say 83/84 i doubt i would lose at all tbh.

lol, i dont even have the game, im using my bro's account on the 360 and i play it every few days, when i get bored of COD.

you guys know that i score a lot of goals from the thrashings i handed out in the ps3 tourney with a team which cost like 20K, up against teams worth over 10 times that.

if you know how the game engine works, its a lot easier to use it to your advantage.

the best formation i find is a 4-2-3-1 this year, with a pacey striker who can header. its effectively 6 defenders and 4 attackers (just like the 4-2-2-2 i used last year), i went for the change due to it being cheaper and more effective with 1-2's and through balls to the wings.

i might switch back to 4-2-2-2 when i have some more coins. i reckon that will make it even better for wing play.

to score in this game all you need to do is 1-2, then time the through ball (high or low), if you have strikers with 90+ pace, it is impossible for any defender to catch them.

the game is too easy.

Nilmar and Neymar are unreal for through balls.

As is Welliton and Doumbia (my new setup).

this game is far too easy to score in, if your score was 10-6, that would never of happened in the last game, i think the highest goals i ever scored in a match though was 17-0. the guy gave up after the 8th went in though and started scoring own goals.

You spray more **** than a muck spreader.

anyone with any defensive capabilities wouldnt commit the defender, your 1-2s are flawed, you can 1-2 all you want against me, but your runner will be tracked 10/10 times, now what do you do?, i really dont know what kind of people you play but your play is flawed so much, i dont know how you can say you are good if thats what you do, are you playing newborn babies?.

i hardly use through balls but when i do, i usually see the opening before doing so, or i create an opening before doing so.

4 out 5 goals of mine are usually headers, same as last year

If one-twos were bad in 10 and 11 this game has just taken the micheal with them. All you have to do is get two strikers with 85-90 pace and a midfielder with 70+ passing and it's game over. The AI ruins your defenders and while they may be positioned correctly by the time they try and jostle for the ball 9 times out of 10 the pacey striker gets the ball. It's how one-twos slice you open so badly. The defenders just can't catch them and with the new defending system and the absolutley shocking referee decisions then if you do get the ball it's a freekick.

The most annoying thing is if you do a one-two and the recieving player gets mauled while the passer still has the ball there is no free kick. It's the same with the goalies and thier challenges. How a goalie running at full pelt against a striker with footwork that can waltz past 4 defenders can still get the ball cleanly and perfectly every time baffles me. Even when they go in with leg breaking challenges they only get a yellow?

This game is now in it's third reincarnation from fifa 10, yet it still carries all the faults and niggles from then. If they would stop adding in gimmicks (penalties and crossing, i'm looking at you) and ironed out all these niggles with some decent coding they would have a game the truely resembles football. But instead we have robotic linesmen, referees that do as they please, league 2 goalies that tackle better than epl defenders, players that cannot do a long pass to save themselves and generally players that don't run to balls or just stand by with thier finger up thier nose and watch as it trickles past.

Just won 15-1.

He just held x and o and had all his players waaaay out of posistion.

His only goal came when he sent me a pm and I went to read it then he scored.

Only thing that really annoys me is skill moves in this game. Should be a limit. For example, you can only perform 2 or 3 skill moves in concession with one player. Thats how it should be.

i do pretty much every match, and come out ontop more often than not, and i dont win with 1-2s, yeh, i win with 1-2s if the person im playing cant defend, if you are playin decent players, 1-2s wont work because he wont commit a defender, so saying this games so easy because all you do is 1-2 and win, is a load of crap, your obviously playing bad people like i said.

i hardly concede goals, not many at all, your tactics are shocking, 1-2....and if that doesnt work, cross in like mad

terrible, 4/5 goals are headers, 2x terrible, and yet you were saying

lol, like i say its far too easy to score in this game, especially when the other guy can't defend at all.

i have a tip for people which i only realised the other day.

passing is a lot weaker/slower so you really do have to hold the button in a slightly longer than normal, i think this is to prevent ping pong ball passing.

also the next one is obvious as soon as you play the game, passing goes in the exact direction you put the analogue stick, so you have to be really accurate with it unlike in older fifa's the general direction worked, but even then it depends on the players passing ability, and what foot you are using of theirs and the way he is moving/standing.

like the same player can make amazing through balls or crap ones depending on his movement/stance when you pass, if turning for example its a lot harder to pass accurately.

i have also noticed curve on through balls to, i dont know if i put the curve on, or whether it was automatic, but i have noticed the ball curl in the wrong direction sometimes (towards defenders) and sometimes it curls the right way.

as stated many times, i dont own the game, im using my bro's account on the xbox. i have a ps3 in my room, but i dont own the game.

i saved a 37 yarder i scored with anelka to his account, but i dont know his password so cant link it.

ive played about 20 games, won 16 of them, havent played offline at all, so all this defending malarky i had to figure out whilst playing online.

so im still learning, but im finding it a lot easier.

i stick to headers because its the easiest way to score, like i say i usually win by a good margin. why bother trying 35 yarders when i know for definite i can score a header.

But its not, its only easy to score against weak players. Scoring goals 1 on 1 should be easy as it is in real life.

It all comes down to poor defending. I've had waaay more tight games than goal fest games over the past week. People are getting better.

depending on the players strong foot, put the ball onto his strong foot.

then use finesse shot and curl it around the keeper on that side.

you need to place the shot using the analogue stick, you cannot just hold finesse then shoot, the analogue stick has a huge part to play in placement.

there are certain parts inside the box, where i find it impossible to miss.

another good one is when i run down the wing (his full back is yards away with no chance of catching me), i go to 5 yards from the line but dont cross, i start to cut inside and run at goal. his centre back comes running at me, i sidestep away from the line dragging the ball (its a basic skill move) and finesse shoot into the top corner, for some reason no GK can save those shots. im usually on the edge of the 6 yard box i think when i hit them.

I can score 1 on 1's. Its how 90% of the goals in Fifa are scored. No one takes chances out side the box.
