Haha I can't even get to the card stage ^^ hit the checkout button and error comes up.

I will give game a go... But I think that's a hard copy? I really want a game today, and need to do so before 10AM when VM capping begins.

yer i just checked, allthou there are some digi d/l games avail just not bf3 witch sux tbh :(

as for vm yer they capped my 30meg connection last night maxed out at 900 kbps.

Mine CTD the same. totally at random.

Me and my bro are playing it from the same house, using the same connection / IP, he has an ATI 5770 and I have a MSI GTX 580 OC and his has crashed once in the same time as mine has crashed 100 times!

so u could be right on the Nvidia thing?
 
How is everyone's time on BF3?!

I'm currently using the GTX460 on high settings and getting 40fps, but I'm getting some horrible graphical glitches and artifacts to the point that its totally unplayable because I can't bugger all. Only started happening on the second campaign mission anyone else got this issue at all?
I removed the overclock I had on my graphics card and I've got the latest drivers, still the same... Any ideas? Bad drivers?

Does anyone else get this sometimes?

Server disconnected unexpectedly. do you have the latest version of the game battlefield 3?

Is there another version of the game?? In the game manager it says "up to date"

I also get random app crashes when starting a game. Never once in the game though

What kind of problems? Im runnin the same card on all highs and similar fps, loving it.

The only graphical bug ive come across is one if i have alt tabbed out of the game, i get like half of my screen go black which will sort of look like an old photograph negative image.

Once i alt tab out again and minimize any background windows it then comes back to normal.

My 460 is the MSI afterburner one super clocked with the forza cooler.
 
anyone know the cheapest digital download for this? I didn't get round to pre-ordering and the last time I paid £40 for a game was on the megadrive I think.......
 
Really enjoying this game so far, better than the beta and apart from some stability issues then it's a fantastic game, especially if you find yourself a good squad to do battle with!

Was worried my crossfired 6950s would struggle as they did in the beta but I'm having no issues at all. Running just the 10.11 preview 3 drivers with no CAPs, 1920x1080 with Custom settings and I'm getting 90+ fps on all maps, both cards at 99% usage too.

Better than BC2? Easily, I find it hard playing BC2 now just down to simple things like not being able to strafe run, etc.

140 ranks I think in total? Plenty of life in this game :)

Well textures of absolutely anything it seems would create a wall in front of me, so I couldn't see a thing like. I'll try and get a screenshot in, not back home until monday night though :(
I'd also get the odd black artifacts appear that would stretch from the crosshair's outwards.
 
What was the server you can go on, that didnt have the min player limit? I fancy actually trying to fly,.. All other times have ended in complete disaster lol
 
im enjoying now, i need gcard upgrade, my 460 struggles in high!

a real nice rape point, on one of the maps where the attackers come off the boat, as a defender you can get the AA tank and mow down all the boats as they leave, got 20 kills doing that before someone crept up and c4'ed me :D

Ours doesn't have the min player limit but it's full at the moment, search for Bronken in the server filter.

Are you an early bird? It's normally empty first thing in the morning around 9ish :p

I was on it this morning with a few other guys flying stuff around :)

A fairly high cpu usage isn't surprising with a large server such as yours, we are currently aware of lag issues with Tehran Highway over about 30 players and DICE are working to resolve such problems. There has been a recent update to the server code, if you haven't already done so please stop your server, wait approximately 20 seconds and start it again via Clanforge > Servers. Please note a restart will not pick up any updates.

Please accept our apologies for any problems you have had so far and do let us know how you get on.

The server seems to be running ok at the moment and with 63 players connected. The CPU usage for 63 players connected is at 63% which is not unusual.

There are unfortunately a number of crash bugs in the current server build as a result of coding glitches. We are logging all related crashes and have forwarded the issues to DICE.

One thing known to cause crashes is player kicks, so we would advise you to avoid kicking players for the time being. Proper banning syntax may work but also has some issues.
