Hazro series - HZ30Wi, HZ30WiQ, HZ27WA, HZ27WB & HZ27WC

So have had mine a few days and love my Hazro WC but have one issue, a distracting amount of backlight bleed in the upper right corner even on a completely black screen.

It's particularly noticeable when watching movies in the dark as instead of a black band there's a splodge of light, but it's also pretty noticeable on 16:9 stuff in darkly lit scenes.

Is anyone else having problems with this- is it par for the course>?

I'm reluctant to return as I have no dead or stuck pixel that I can see.
I tried to take a photo of it but it's nowhere near as noticeable as in person.

Thanks,

LH

Have been saying this in a lot of threads lately, get a monitor arm ;). Or wait for Hazro to release their adjustable stand for the 27" models (should be available for purchase seperately sometime soon).

You must be either even taller than me (I'm 6'3" - 1.92m) or have a very small center speaker though. Couldn't fit mine under the monitor while keeping the top of the monitor at eye-height level. This is what I did.. yeah that cable in plain view isn't exactly ideal but I don't really care.

Nice setup, the centre speaker with it's stand is higher than the screen, I think I'll wait for the adjustable stand, but I hope the design is better.

Depending on the design I might copy what you've done, not to bothered about the cable either, you could always hide it using trunking strip . Better than a dangling cable and they are cheap. :)

Guys how much is the glass one, better than the none glass one, I have no light directly behind me but do have the ceiling spotlights above and just behind me.

You'd still have 3686399 left that do work fine.. I'm in that situation. But I'm not going to let a single dead pixel ruin my fun. (I'm not from the UK so sending it back would be a rather pricey affair)

About to bite the bullet on this, just wondering if anyone has width/height as my TV is just above?

There are other monitors out there may be a tad bit more but you get a far better policy re dead pixels.

Yet they all have the horrible AG coating.
Yes, it's a situation where you have to pick the lesser evil but I'm quite happy with my monitor.

What should I do?

I just my got 27WC and the box was a little tatty on one corner, after opening it up there are a couple of chips knocked out of the bezel on one corner and it looks like the casing isn't sitting very flush, there's a panel gap about 3-4x larger than around the rest of the casing. There are further chips / scratches along the panel, looks like it may have been dropped at some point.

The problem (problem?) is that other than that I think I've got a perfect screen. No dead pixels, no backlight bleeds, nada. Very impressed. What should I do? I don't want to return it and risk getting a cosmetically perfect model with dead pixels, but I don't want to run into problems in 6 months time and have Hazro claim that I've knocked it about and broken it... any thoughts?

Maybe I could e-mail them the serial number now and tell them the problem in advance... I guess I'm kinda doing them a favour keeping hold of it?

The second HZ27WC arrived today after I RMA'ed the first one. I'm perplexed because this one has the exact same problem. I turn it on, the monitor shows a perfect picture for about 2 seconds then turns it self off again.

How unlucky is that, the exact same problem on two monitors in a row. I'm done with Hazro. I will RMA this, already ordered a new Samsung S27A from a danish vendor.

I am building a new system from scratch, new monitor and gfx were the first purchases. So yes, I have tried the monitor with both nvidia and ati. The monitor shows a picture for about 2 seconds and then goes black again, blue led light flicking exactly as the first one. I wil spend my 1500 pounds with another company than OC.
