haha I had a similar one, I was using the UMP in my recon class, so I got called a **** sniper and was told to "L2P" despite the fact I MVP'd the round....
 
OK, i'm stuck. How the hell do you spot enemy vehicles etc? Apparently it's "Q" but single pressing seems to do nothing, and if I hold it down I get a comms option? :(

Please help me someone. Yes, im thick.
 
I suppose they are doing what snipers are supposed to do but the same guy killed me plenty of times back to back the other night.

Server rubber banding didn't help matters!

It's definitely Q. If you've spammed it though it won't work, there'll be a cooldown period. But yeah, Q spots.

Im using an MX518 also, not using the logitech drivers or anything.

Works fine although when you are binding make sure your clicking in the mouse column and not the keyboard section.

Also the mouse buttons start from 0

So mouse 1 is 0, 2 is 1 etc.

So when you bind mouse3 it will show as mouse2

Im in the same boat. I had to create a profile for BF3. that maps mouse buttons to keyboard keys then kicked in when BF3 was loaded.
 
Yup.

I am using the Saitek software on my RAT7 to rebind mouse buttons to key-presses for use in BF3.

Binding issues are occuring more and more in games these days :(

someone called me a noob yesterday for flying the viper and crash it after a min. I got hit by a major lag at TFU.
 
My god, trying to get to sleep last night and ALL i could hear was a jet engine and the bleeping noise of locking on target. Think i need to stop playing with the volume so loud lol

Are you definitely binding the buttons in the mouse section are are you clicking on the keyboard binds and trying to bind a mouse button?

yeah I had this too, my eyes keep on flashing the target icon when you hit someone, and i CAN hear voices in my head from the game.

seriously, don't play more than 9 hours a day your brain will be ****ed
