DX owner here - no issues with MSI Afterbuner.
In bc2 the crashes were signalled by a juddering sound then a black screen or a total system crash. By renaming rtcore i never experienced any more. Could have been carried over in the game engine to bf3.

Renaming that file seems to take away statistics for the second gpu from what ive experienced. Core clock goes missing as does ram clock.

Any one else getting green flickering....

Seems to be worse with the WHQL 11.10 drivers.

Also I tried the auto graphics options and the game feels so much more fluid now, compared to the playable (all ultra deffered off) I had it at before.

Also games are lagging.... lots of rubber banding going on.

Bloody good game tho... when do the Back to Karkand maps get released?

Yep, on nv cards you loose fan rpm monitoring, though fan speed percentage still displays in the osd or g15 lcd display.

Just can't get on with this game at all, been on the OcUK server for a few rounds - and so much going on I don't know where to look haha

You need to rank up, play the maps a few times, learn the weapons, get some attachments, and then the game will start to shine.

It really is very very good. Lots of little details make the game awsome.

yeh i get green flickering some times usually just the odd flash here and there though :)

using a pII 955 8 gig ddr 3 and a 5850 1 gig, other than the odd flicker of green and the odd crash the game is working very good for me with every thing on high, i also have to disable upnp before playing or i will get disconnected though.

I never had any issues with MSI AB and BFBC2. Punkbuster kicks you from BF2 if it's running when you play that.

I said earlier in the thread that the game seems to cause many and varied problems for a lot of people. I've had my keyboard stop responding in game and tonight the game didn't recognise left mouse clicks when I wanted to deploy. I had to press Enter, but left click worked ok for shooting after I'd spawn. I've also had an issue with my sound volume going to almost nothing while in game.

It just seems to me as DICE's game engines get more complicated then they get more buggy.

My one pet hatea through all of them though is the fact the game doesn't let you walk or run over very low objects, you have to jump. Even over something that's probably only a few inches higher than the ground.

A graphical thing which I wish could be fixed, is when you peer round an object, you think your view is clear, shoot only for the bullets to hit the edge of the object you are hideing behind.

Any way remeber this game has just been released, there will be patches sooner or later...

Game hasnt crashed on my tho, thank god, just get green screen flicker.

I ****ING LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!!

finally am good at flying jets now pulled off some sick dog fighting moves lol top gun or what, and rocket pods own for spamming cap points and owns tanks!

mortars are gay tho they shouldnt be allowed in spawns...

but other then that loving the gren launcher on metro lol!

but this game hasnt made me rage this much and last time i was like this i was about 15 16 years old lol! now im 28.. think ive got problems haha! :(

I have to say that the more i play the game, the less impressive it seems, or the flaws just become more obvious. There are too many problems for me to play atm, i am still getting no indication of who is an enemy, defib very rarely works, i often lost the ability to zoom in, in the last game i played i racked up 6 deaths in a row as someone was reviving me and i was being killed before i had the chance to do anything(i thought you had to accept it?, i didn't mind so nuch until i looked at the points screen)

Also i just unloaded an entire round of my LMG in to some guy standing about 10 feet away, only for him to just stand there and fire a rocket straight at me, then i saw on the killcam that he had 77% left!!

Also i just started the ocuk server Caspian Border and whilst i was at the deployment i suddenly die and the death screen comes up with the message"Bad luck". WTF is that all about?

Gonna give it a while before playing again i think. Though the biggest problem is the maps tbh, Damavand, Metro, Tehran Highway and Canals are terrible. Also was getting the green flickering as well, but it was not very noticeable

SpawnDIE...spawnDIE....spawnDIE.
Every few games I just get into a cycle of this and it is a touch tedious.

i find it easier to go on smaller servers instead of 64 all the time for ranking up and actually feeling like your getting some where, instead of spawn die spawn die lol :)

That's how how if feel at the moment. I think its the sound with me its overwhelming. I'm used to playing Q3, UT and TF2, you know where people are from the sounds, in this the sound is bloody everywhere, left, right, behind, above your head, its insane. Also the maps are hugh!

And the glare from the sun is annoying, is there anyway to tone it down? I've already got graphics on lowest settings.
