Lol, it was never there, even the monster truck in SA cannot compete with one of them.

Saints Row 1&2 and Just Cause 1&2 have been much more fun to play than GTA IV for me.

In VC and earlier going on a killing spree was fun and it felt like a game. In GTAIV it felt like you actually had to play the game and just hooning around wasn't fun, partly because of the increase in graphics, game physics and in game moral compass and consequences / policing

If they go back to the Vice City routes this will be one of the best games ever made imo.

Skyrim mmmmmmmmm can’t wait

I have 50 or so hours on Oblivion and haven’t even got into the main story bar escaping the sewers. If the content is to be believed on Skyrim then that and COD should take care of all my gaming needs until GTAV and it won’t even feel like an age away.
 
Not long to go now.. Rumours are that it's going to be set in some form of Los Angeles, and that it'll feature more than just one main playable character.

Hopefully it's a return to the San Andreas style of game.. GTA4 although good, was not as outrageous or fun.

atmosphere from vice city
game play and physics from SA
GFX and gunplay from GTA 4 (no GTA 4 physics I hate them especialy driving cars + cars have no seatbelts)

city: vice city or a new city

Timeline: between vice city and SA

Sorry to dissapoint you, but it's most likely going to be gameplay and physics from GTA4/RDD/LANoire engine, which is great news!

I hope it's the atmosphere from Chinatown wars, one of the best gta games made imo!
 
They need laslo back from liberty city. That radio station was the best part of the game. I still listen to it. That and the hilarous adverts made the game just special.

Radio is an integral part of GTA.
