Carlos plays a tank role in CM there. Did exactly what I want him to do first game and score a screamer outside the box. Check the pace out on some of those lads too! :p

found a really good offer for fifa, the special edition for £30, so i decided to buy it, had been playing on ma bro's account on xbox but going to switch to ps3 now (a lot easier for me).

not really looking to devote too much time to ultimate team, i thought for the sake of £30, im going to get a good amount of play out of it. would never of bought if it was still at the £45 mark.

feel good for holding out for so long, i think £30 is a great deal. got mw3 the hardened edition coming for £65 too, so spent nearly £100 on the 2 games ill be playing for the next year.

if the ps3 lads want to do a tourney same as last year, thats cool with me, but give me 2/3 months to put a decent team together, i dont buy packs so need time to save up.

hopefully the game arrives tomorrow, if they dispatch it today

i played a few times, like i said it's my bro's account and i dont like his setup.

he was playing on a 32 inch 720P screen but our TV in the living room blew so the 32incher is being used as a temp replacement.

so for the past month he has been using a 19inch square PC screen.

i have a 42 inch 1080p panny plasma in my bedroom, so i prefer to use that.

its hard enough being limited by the crappy players he has, but then to be using a tiny screen which isn't widescreen so i see less of the pitch too, its a joke.

im basically playing with both hands tied behind my back and still giving a good game.

looking forward to getting it up and running on my ps3

Anyone played any of the offline modes much?

I've been playing them quite a lot because I currently don't have my xbox hooked up to internet here in halls. I'm starting to become a bit tired of the offline modes, I played A LOT of them on Fifa 11 but I used to break it up by playing UT and ranked matches here and there.

Virtual Pro mode doesn't seem to be as good as last years, I've been banging them in for fun up front for my club and I'm playing in the first team but it still lists me as a reserve player and i've not moved up, it's quite irritating.

Career mode I don't think I've found a team I've been suited to yet, I've played to after the Jan window with 5 or 6 teams and full season with two others, but I just can't seem to want to stick anywhere - I'm not sure why, I think I just can't find a team that I enjoy enough to want to build up.

I don't have WiFi here (apart from hosted off my iMac) and only one ethernet port in my room which is annoying (Uni Halls), is there any other way I can get XBL without buying the XBOX WiFi Adaptor which is stupid money?

I've been trying to find one but couldn't find Ethernet hubs only stupid USB hubs. Got a link to one that that really cheap electrical place might sell? I have one I can see from my window so that'd be handy :p Facebook or MSN me it timmeh!

im used to playing on my 42 inch panny plasma, playing on a screen that small is just gay.

i know its the same game, it makes the whole experience crap, you cant see as much of the pitch, you have to really concentrate as everything is so small.

my 42 inch plasma is roughly 6 times the size of a 19" square screen, the difference is night and day.

deal with what? ive ordered it on ps3 so i can use my tv
