Got Fernando Torres in a pack earlier so upgraded my team a bit, now looks like:

GK: Valdes

LB: Abidal
CB: Pepe
CB: Carvalho
RB: Sergio Ramos

LM: Pedro
CDM: Mascherano
CAM: Diego
RM: Reyes

ST: Nilmar
ST: Rossi

Subs:
Raul Albiol
Diarra
Afellay
Turan
Jesus Navas
Falcao
Fernando Llorente

Pepe is immense, I was reluctant to spend that much money on him but he's worth every penny. He has 75 pace which is good for a CB, but he must have a very high acceleration attribute because he reaches his top speed so quickly, very good in the air too. Carvalho is alright, a bit on the slow side but he has good positioning which usually makes up for it. Not sure what to make of Sergio Ramos, he spends the entire game pretty much on the line, hardly ever comes in-field even when defending, he does have good jumping though.

Pedro is solid, way better than Piatti and Jordi Alba who I was using on the left, Turan is there just to bring on as a late sub or if I need a player who can come on and control that flank with passes. Glad I bought Rossi too, he's fast, strong, decent in the air and has a good shot on him, left footer too so he works really well on the right side of Nilmar. I was gonna go with Benzema but I think Rossi has been better value.

I liked Benzema Kill, strong and quick, Giuessepe is a bit weak imo although a lot better at passing iirc?

I get that quite often. Occasionally the scores and time also disappear. That is proper annoying especially in a tight game and you have no idea how long you have left to make a comeback or hold on to a lead. :(

agree on torres i just sold mine and got 61k for him which i thought was good

im playing reyes on the right in a 4-3-2-1 formation but its that left wing im not sure on

ive got at the minute pedro and affelay

been looking at david villa but its a lot of coins lol but as a cheaper option a lot of people have said MATA from chelsea is excellent

Same, I got 61,750 or something like that, sold him this morning. :)

Pedro is alright, not amazingly fast but fast enough to track back or beat a man, David Villa looks way too expensive for someone in that position, especially as it isn't really a key area, unless you're good at tricks then he isn't going to be cutting in and banging many goals for you so for the price it's a bit of a waste imo. Haven't tried Afellay yet but his stats look good for the position, really fast with good control, Piatti was okay when I had him but I usually played Jesus Navas on the left and that worked out alright.

He's a bit on the short side but he can jump like nobody I've ever seen. I don't think his heading stats are that amazing, Falcao's heading is 88 and Rossi isn't anywhere near that but he is definitely better for me at it. He scores those annoying ones where you have a defender in front of the man but they still head it in. :D

EA Servers unavailable for anyone else?
 
Question, at which point does the game punish you for a disconnect? Only, the EA Servers seem to have gone down for everyone (according to EA Forums) and I was disconnected on the screen where it congratulates you for winning the online tournament. I'm guessing I won't get the prize money, and I'll get a mark on my DNF? :(

I have been disconnected at that point before and got the winnings.

rumour is that a few people are going to be punish as microsoft and ea have joined forces and are going to be closing the accounts/banning people who have been using those 6k illegal accounts

good on them if thats the case i know of 5 people already who have had a console ban from using these dodgey points and they expect sympathy lol
