Every time I try to start a game from battlelog the first time it says battlefield 3 is not working before it even loads and I have to click close program. The second time it loads and then after between 3 and 15 minutes, without fail, no matter what server or map or stage of the game, it freezes and I have to ctrl-alt-del to close battlefield. Does this happen to anyone else? It's really putting me off the game and I am enjoying it but getting really frustrated when I keep not being able to finish a game. Also my quit ratio is about 70% even though I haven't quit any games :(.

Got the same problem mine freezes every game, tried everything. My record is 15 mins
 
I've singed up to Orgin today . before putting my battlefield 3 disk in and it saying its ready to download
Did this happen to anyone else

It installs the game, then downloads a patch, it may be prompting you to download Origin if you haven't already.

I preordered from HMV and on the day they said they were getting in stock but it wasn't delivered yet so they still do? :confused:

Although I wouldn't be surprised if the people working there just said they were getting it in even though they weren't.
 
Downloaded this last night, only took afew hours to download aswell!

From playing a lot of BF2 I know a good team is important so im looking to hook up with some fellow players!
 
reinstalling bf3 after formatting hard drive

Im wondering how does the reinstall of bf3 work?

I had to format my hard drive because of getting windows 64bit so iv origin already up and going

Do I just put the bf3 disk in and go to origin and press "ready to download" because I did that and im worried im actually downloading the game from the internet
 
Anybody playing this on Virgins 30meg, i have just ordered it as part of my tivo package.

Am on BEthere at the moment which is 22meg and very good.
 
Anyone had issues with that CJS CD Keys site? I bought it today from there, and just got home went to activate and download and it says it's already in use. :/
 
Grr, I didn't really feel in the mood for MP over the weekend, so knocked out the truly awful SP and did other things. Since starting MP, I get disconnected at best, about a minute after loading a new map, so finish game join, new map, bye bye, at worst, a couple minutes after joining a game. Also I'm tending to find insane and stupid lag frequently that makes it utterly retarded and unplayable, from what I can tell that's not me though as everyone seems to complain about it when it happens.

Is that the same for everyone, or is there some setting that screws it up? its no problem in any other game I've tried(though new mobo/chip/install in general so).

Also, maybe its just me but, wtf is with the web server browser, its crap, its yet another thing to load, and every time you get disconnected it basically throws you out of the game, so you have to reload every single time?

I've yet to actually have a chance to leave a game myself, does it leave to an ingame browser, or is there some option I'm missing where you can load the game, find a server, join and have much lower load times?

How many maps are there, so far every freaking time I join a game its one of two maps, and I've only managed to get into a 3rd separate map so far, which was a crap tunnel thing where everyone met in the middle in a nade/sniper fest of retarded stupidity.
