******* poor people :(

You are complaining about something which if you researched you could have prevented, Seems like you are moaning for moaning sake.

And thank you for replying like a grown man.

I am moaning for moaning sake - as I said above I won't change where I live to save £150. It irritates the hell out of me that the actions of others costs me (and everyone else in the area who had a car) more to insure the car. I have no problem paying for 3rd party liability in case I mess up and crash into them, in fact that makes perfect sense.

But as ever, the majority of decent people get hammered to protect us from the few. Anyone who wishes to argue that being poor doesn't make you scum I will agree with. Anyone who argues that it isn't just the poor that steals/vandalises cars I will disagree with. At least in my town, anyway.

He didn't say you would pay weekly, just that it breaks down to that amount per week (although it's actually £2.96 a week).

Fair enough - it's a pointless comparison though.

Also, it's actually £7.29 a week as I'm mid policy.

They only can't afford stuff because it costs too much in the first place, it's more pathetic that people and companies are greedy, we should bring everyone up to a higher standard of living, the benefits will be far greater to society in the long run than the current situation.

Or because they fail to realise that you should work for something before you buy it and not take out everything on finance. Ok, fair enough for large purchases, houses for example, even cars if you like, but 'essentials' like that laura ashley interior, or that 3D TV, or perhaps that 4KW hifi system with 27 speakers and a 70 disc cd changer..... no. Sorry but no. Expensive or not, they are not essentials and if you want you standard of living to raise then you need to work harder, find a new job or get an education. If you can't find a job which pays your more then it stands to reason you are paid what you're worth so suck it up.

Edit: not to mention that if it was easy as pie to get everything you ever wanted then everyone would stop trying and I shudder to think what would happen to progress in that instance.

What do you mean by "one of these people"?

Someone who cares about the state of the world and wants to see it improve by changing the system and increasing everyones quality of life, not just the rich? How terrible!

It makes me laugh when people don't realise that this stuff does and will effect you more as time goes on, you can't have a mass of unhappy poor people in the world, it will cause more problems in the long run as more end up joining them, who do you think they'll blame, what will they do with all this anger and frustration?

Who cares, the rich have the education and resources to deal with it, whatever it is.

:p

I asked them to give me quotes for the drive, garage and street - the street was the cheapest, then drive and finally garage being the most expensive.

Very VERY high risk of someone vandalising/stealing/crashing into my car when it's in the garage though, clearly ;)

So why have you made this thread to moan, you are having to deal with a small aspect of it are you not? :)

I don't think that committing crime is the response of unhappy poor people, it's the response of bored people who have been raised with no morals or aspirations, nor respect, presumably because their parents are dole dossing alcoholic chain smoking ****wits who live off the state and only had kids for the benefits.

Hardly the fault of the kids I agree, but they all went to school, and they were all taught right from wrong. My sympathy is pretty much non-existent for them.

Edit: but yes, fair point nonetheless.

So let me get this straight... You're too poor to live somewhere that isn't surrounded by poor people, and that's the other poor people's fault?

Best post in the whole thread.

And for the people moaning about the rich and how they get everything, (including the lowlife causing disruption "occupying" places) there is nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, not even the "rich" or the "bankers" stopping you working hard and being able to buy stuff without interest and be rich yourself. The only people you should be complaining about are you for your total lack of drive an motivation to better your self and financial standing.

Basically because you have a **** job and earn **** all it's the rich people's problem. Jog on.

I disagree, I don't live next to poor people, they're at least 1/2 a mile away. My streets and surrounding streets have a low level of crime. The poorer areas have a significantly higher level of crime.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. I'm by no means rich, but I'm sick of people moaning they're poor. Especially when every move they make seems to keep them poor.

maybe with a bit of social equality and proper social welfare, we wouldn't have rich and poor, but as we live in a mostly selfish materialistic world, just live with it

Insurers don't go on the basis that someone is going to nick your car from a garage they assume that you will damage it parking it in the garage.
