I try that, but i just get blowed up by other jets who lock on all the time :( Jets were a HUGE part of bf2 and they've ruined them. It would be like having to unlock the rocket launcher on the tank.
 
Feeling underwhelmed by the lack of teamplay on PS3, I come in the top 3 of my team most games just by actually healing or reviving while no one esle seems bothered.
I'm no ninja player but I think too many COD players running round.
I started one round and a numpty in my squad jumped in the APC and drove of with sprint on his own and left us all having to run to the flags. Even on infantry maps half the team play engineer just to rocket spam.
Rant over,its still a good game and I enjoy it most of the time.
 
Jets are actually OK. Perseverance is the only way. Rightly so, I reckon. Like any class, if you want to dominate, practice. As it should be. And the ones who can't be arsed will move on to something else.
 
LOL ignore my moaning, i was a noob, then, now i am enlightened. Took out a plane that just went in a straight line rofl, and a chopper with 4 people in it :cool: Got what i want now which is awesome :D

How am i supposed to get a single point when every enemy jet in the air already has missiles? Flares as an unlock i can understand but comeone, what kind of war jet doesn't have missiles already on it?

Is there any easy way to get points in the jet? Or is it just going to be impossible for me?

A few times i've been in a position to lock on and fire, but instead i have to somehow line up and fire my cannon at it, which is damn hard using xbox joysticks.

Anyone know any good ways of doing this?

Is there a min capacity of server before you get points?

MW3 comes out soon don't worry :p

Really annoys me when teams don't stick together. If you want to go be a lone wolf or sniper don't take up a spot in a team imo.

This is a damn excellent game imo!
 
are they going to sort out the crap that is being "revived" by a team mate.

It takes way too long to actually get up and it forces you to stand or kneel as you are revived.


i've had it so many times when someone revives me and I then get shot as I can't even move when it's spawning me. The option of selecting accept or decline never shows before I actually seem to be revived either.


Really Annoying the crap out of me.

In other news: Had an awesome conquest game on Metro last night, went to review it in battlelog and origin couldn't find the stats :(

Like attacking/defending M-COMS/Flags...

As while the air vehicles may be fun, they don't really turn the tide of actually winning or loosing a game.
 
I finished the story campaign last night, overall though I found it a bit underwhelming. The story had slight shades of Black Ops, given that they went with a sort of flashback interrogation plot; it's pretty rubbish when the two biggest warfare franchises have similar stories.

I played on Hard and also found it quite infuriating at times. There are numerous places where you just get killed by cheap shots, or you are expected to run following someone, but then get killed doing so. They also have COD style enemies in most places, so even if you pick them all off, they just respawn and you can't advance without making a mad dash hoping not to get shot. The other nitpick I'd say is that there are parts where despite being a linear game, it's not totally obvious what you are supposed to be doing. One springs to mind is where I was supposed to chase a helicopter, but the voice instructions from the AI teammates didn't come till it had taken off.

Hopefully MW3 will have a more enjoyable single player.

I personal think that the game is spot on and and makes everyone work for their weapon setup... Stops all those rubbish jet flyers nicking the jets this way the guys with the skills get the planes as they can unlock the weapons (an a im not one off them)

Oh an you do have to unlock the rocket launchers on tanks and apc's
 
Not massively impressed with the process of getting into a game, so wondering if we are doing anything wrong.

Generally play multiplayer with a couple of other people, so we start in an Xbox Live party and one of us invited the others. However, there doesn't really seem to be any obvious indicator as to when those people have joined, or for them to know they have joined. Are we missing something?

Also when we do join a game, it seems to put us on opposite teams sometimes even though we are joining together?

And finally when we are in a game, can you select which squad you go in so that we are all in the same one?
