Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

I had some fun games on the ocuk server earlier this evening, recognized practically everyone on there at one point. TBH on half the maps it seems like the less players the better.

Was playing between 6 and 7, then i stopped for a bit and when i came back i was getting the most horrific rubber banding i have ever seen on most servers, my internet seemed quite slow as well though so it might have been that.
 
Whoever thought Metro Conquest was a good idea is an idiot, it's horrible. It's clearly for COD like people.

lol it is a camp corner fire a rocket kinda map :D

most servers will drop down after a month watch most will be like 50 man or less.
 
I have unlocked the 'Below radar' unlock in the attack helicopter but cant equip it in any slot either in the pilot or gunner seat, is it bugged or what?!

I'm gutted because I really wanted this unlock!!!!

Its a good setting for a map, its just designed like ****. It needs more flag points to spread the fight out more.
 
What hope does someone in an attack helicopter with just rockets have against an attack heli with lock on missiles or the dozen hiding infantry with Stingers??? You take off, locked on and you die.

Even if you die you get the points it seems but not if you quit out of the game.

I do very well in attack choppers, got all unlocks and a pilot I have flown with from BF2 days, needless to say we own.


Get yourself a decent pilot with a few unlocks and you will get kills and then you will get the nice unlocks for piloting and gunning.

It's not selectable it's just on when you unlock it.
 
Do you guys fly the choopers and planes using mouse and keyboard?

I really cabt fly the planes, but he chooper Im a little bit better with.

Do you have to use the wsad as well as the up and down arrows on the keyboard?
 
Had some good games on ocuk server again tonight i still die like a trooper but having fun.
Metro is quite funny for the wrong reasons :p but a question regarding that shouldnt we have flash bangs to storm the top and are flashbangs even in bf3??
 
It seems the rpg spamming is getting worse. I don't know if people are beginning to take up the habit themselves or whatever but I've just been on 3 different servers and either people were sat around with mortars, in a doorways with an rpg or an m320. Also, the second someone saw me and I took cover I'd get rpg'ed within seconds. :rolleyes:

Yea I'v seen the same. But I dont blame them.

In a fire fight, I'v learnt, when your enemy goes for cover, automatically switch to rpg and blast them out. Its a good move.
