Played my first rush rounds on the damavand peak. Epic stuff better than cq that map. Now that the noobs are not playing and players are getting the hang off playing battlefield its is a proper replacement for bf2. A few things to patch and add but it is the best fps multiplayer experience around.
The ball is on your court COD:)

Can we have another thread where people can advertise their servers, its quite annoying reading this thread with people just posting gif's of their servers all over the place.

A sticky with the server gif's all piled into one would be nice for ease of access, i don't think its foolish to say this is the biggest game being played on the PC Games section, and I doubt cod will do much to change this for the majority of us.

Yup.

vars.roundStartPlayerCount "1"
vars.roundRestartPlayerCount "0"

I am not sure if that's the best setting, but since i've listed it on here it's been full since.

It seems to help fill it up, although until 3-4 get on it fills slowly but once 5+ come on it fills up very quick.
 
DICE has released server update R8 which includes:-

- Crashfixes.
- RCON bugfixes; banList.add can now ban on player name.
- Fixes for team & squad handling, both during and between rounds.

We will be updating the Bronken server late tonight when it doesn't effect everyone on the server currently.

We've also got some more servers on their way, news about that soon.

Thats my latest bug... Every round i get kicked before the end and lose all that i have achieved

Really quite happy with the attention they're giving the game so far and by the looks of things the near future also.

Conquest: Assault Lines

A new gamemode variant exclusive to the Battlefield 2142: Northern Strike booster pack, this gamemode is similar to Assault. The EU team begins with a single, uncapturable base, while the PAC team has all the remaining control points. However, the PAC home base cannot be captured unless the EU team controls all the other flags on the map, forcing more defense onto flags that have already been captured. If the PAC flag is captured, all players on the EU team receive an award. However, if the PAC manages to recapture a base, the round will continue. If they recapture their home base, the EU is eligible to receive the award again.
