Yep! The codes for Act of Valor are for US PS3 accounts only! :( Spoke to some guy on EA Live Chat Support. I also tried downloading them on my US account but when I start up on my UK account I don't have em :(

Tried that, couldn't seem to pick or join any of the available empty squads, and when I selected the find a squad option it kept putting me back in with the randoms! The actual process for joining a squad on an ad hoc basis seems flawed in the game, possibly a bug or either that I was being a numpty (will try again tonight)

I also can confirm the Act of Valor codes are for US only, couldn't redeem them on my EU PSN account. Did somebody earlier say there's a way of just linking them to your origin account?
 
I just logged into Battlelog, played the vid in another window then selected the format and it accepted. Not sure if it different for PSN users though.

Long time battlefield fan here, 800 + hours on bad company 2, was an immensely fun game. something about bf3 though, just not enjoying it as much. I think the maps are part of the problem, there doesn't seem to be any stand out maps that get me excited. Still cant put my finger on it though, I hope I get into it.

If you don't think there is any stand out maps there's no way you have been on Seine Crossing and Operation Firestorm yet :P

None of them compare to oasis, harvest day, arica harbour or panama canal - and thats 4 just from the last game!

I cant see any of these maps standing up to legendary bf1942, vietnam and bf2 maps.

I dunno man, all the maps are pretty decent plus we have Karkand and Sharqi etc to come yet. Early days to decide whether they will turn out to be epic or not as the more you learn them the better they will become. These things take time!

im rather enjoying most the maps. i guess it all depends on how well your doing. even on your most fav map, and you die a gazillion times it will be a "bad" map lol

i dont like some of them compared to others but some suit my play style more thats for sure
