I think it's more silly to call a car a daily driver if I only drive it 5 days out of every 7. That isn't daily.

Anyway, I never call mine a daily driver so I don't even know why I'm defending it

Is this not the most pointless argument ever anyway? I mean does it really matter whether some people call a sole car they drive daily a daily driver as opposed to people who call a 'workhorse' car they drive daily a daily driver?

It's the implied meaning behind it, it's a way to 'justify' to themselves the car choice, quite why they feel they need to do so I've no idea.

'Yea yea its a Corsa BUT ITS JUST A DAILY' or whatever. That works when it's followed by 'But there is an Exige' in the garage' but smacks of 'I wish I didnt have this car, how can I convince myself I am happy' when it doesnt
