Maybe the motherboard and CPU are dead.

It still shows it's not a good idea to use 1.6V for Sandy Bridge processors.

You might end up killing the CPU and/or motherboard.

Yeah WoW is one of the few games that benefits from a beast of a CPU, most games are generally GPU limited.

BF3 only needs a very basic quad core. It is completely GPU limited after that.

By basic quadcore I mean Q6600 etc.

just cooked an i5 (i think at 4.5ghz... so erm be careful and step up the overclock very slowly unlike I did)

Why would you want to cook an i5? Personally I prefere to cook food and use i5 for computer gaming. lol
