********* The Official GTA V (5) thread! *********

Euphoria is probably the best physics engine when used properly. The ragdolls look very realistic with Euphoria in comparison to Havok.

I didn't say that, they could have gone make it more crazy and fun instead of adding realism which made it less fun than what it could have been.

That's fair enough, it's totally a subjective thing and if you prefer that sort of thing you might be happier with Saints Row or sticking with GTA III/VC/SA.

Just thought of a simple solution for GTA 5 add a hardcore mode. So when you start the game people who want realistic physics, stricter cops, and other features to make the game more realistic can turn on the mode and for people like me who want fan game play they can turn it off.

what to do guys think?

Ridiculous. They'd basically have to have two versions of the game for what you want.

Two physics engines? Double the development time

Stricter cops? Not even sure what you mean by this, the cops in 3-SA were just as strict

same physics engine different settings

Stricter cops like in mafia 2 to make the game more serious

I don't get all the hate for IV. They had a go at taking the series in another direction. COD is vilified for sticking to it's core gameplay, Rockstar had the balls to change. Thats not to say they wouldn't return to their over the top style of San Andreas. This is a series that has entertained me with every iteration so I'm prepared to trust their judgement and forgive them the odd mistake.

GTA IV still impresses me though. It successfully created a believable, gritty city full of tiny details and some funny characters.

Can't wait for V!

COD comes out every year, GTA doesn't thats the difference

You talk about fun but in the same sentence you want stricter cops like in Mafia 2? One of my biggest problems with that game was the need to constantly crawl through the traffic lights in case a cop was nearby, or drive around town with the limiter on.

What fun.

OR, You could buy Saints Row 3 and not GTA V?

not for me I was think about people who like the realism and a serious tone

Especially considering the probable size of the map and the amount of time spent driving. The map in Mafia II wasn't particularly big and even though it was a pain in the biscuits having to regulate your speed and stop at the lights you were never *that* far away from your destination in the first place. That amount of stop/start in this upcoming game would be disastrous.
