Went into a 8 player game to pratice flight skills:rolleyes: to find both sides in a que taking turns to arm, disarm rush points.

Was flying around hurting my stats as not scoring but wot the hell you gotta learn and not once did I see anyone but kept hearing armed/disarmed warnings non stop and honestly thought my game had bugged.

Anyway got bored so bailed from plane and went to nearest mcom to find everybody stat padding.

Friendly fire turned on so killed everyone and quit.

Knobheads just dont understand how statpading can give satisfaction.

So I have been playing BF3 for a week now and one thing I have to say is:

BUGS

This game has way to many bugs for it to have been released.

Major bugs include
Blackscreen when changing map

Yup I still experience it. The screen goes all black when server is changing map and then I have to end bf3.exe in windows task manager as by then game has crashed.:mad:

I hear raven from this forum is pretty adept at that, using flight practice servers to rack up 20k or so of points ;)
 
True. But I'm sure that even in BC there are situations where a true recon who only provides intelligence would be more useful than an assault recon. Of course it depends on the layout of the map (good overwatch position) and whether the team communicates well. In BF3 however the recon has the ideal tool to be a tremendous asset with the MAV. In BF3 the recon has the best tools for being a recon and not an assaulter or supporter.

It depends, i play recon very much as i used to play spec ops in BF2.

Equip the class with the sprint specialization, and the UMP, and attempt to fight your way through the enemy lines and then wreak havoc behind the lines.

Drop the spawn beacon to enable your squad to also be inserted behind enemy lines and then use something like the SOFLAM to spot enemy tanks from positions behind enemy lines.

But to get there, you're going to have to fight your way through, and thats where the ability to use guns like the UMP comes in handy.
 
Not enjoying the game at all.

Too many bugs and/or annoyances.

Dice really did go into tard mode with some of the unlocks thats for sure, thermal\night scopes that operate really well during daytime being one of them. Definately had to be some kind of crack party going on when half of this crap was conceived.
 
Has anyone found that if you get hit by a heatseaker in the Super Hornet you die but the plane doesn't explode? Makes Fire Extinguisher useless on that jet.

I see amd fixed msaa with the 11.10 drivers. I can now max every single setting and have 40-45fps. If I cut down to 2x msaa I can have just over 45fps. All on a single 6950 :)
 
the spawn killing is Team Death Match is unreal, the canal map has about 6 spawn points, so on a 32 man sever its madness, one chap on my team got 38 kills and 1 death, just got a support gun and sat in corner... needless to say the other team were raging!

why o why in this day an age can a game not come up with random spawn points!
 
Getting so fed up with this server disconnected crap, i swear you would think this is dice's first attempt at releasing a game. Then they could be cut some slack, but when its every single BF release it wears a bit thin.
 
Operation Metro is so bad! Why on earth did they make this map for conquest? It just doesn't work. I would love to hear some feed back from Dice as to why this map even exists on conquest. It just breaks the game play of conquest! you cant do anything but stand still and spam rockets and nades hoping for a lucky kill, only for it to get denied because they get shocked back to life again.

Damavand Peak is just as bad but i can tolerate that map for some reason, maybe because you can use vehicles which makes it feel not as linear :p

These are the only things that bother me about the game tbh, i wish 64 man servers would remove the maps from rotation because they are proper ****.

lol, thought i would have another go just now, joined a server and spawned and was alive less than a second before a sniper killed me, what is the point!

Why is there no spawn protection?
 
Im pretty sure the SQDM and TDM maps are mixed up.
The maps are huge for SQDM, whereas the TDM maps seem to be smaller, despite having a larger player count

It works so much better as a 32 player map.
 
Something random happened earlier! My fps dropped to 20-30 then I started getting strange black stretchy(?) artifacts so I had to quit :( Been ok since though so hope it's not sign of my 560Ti dying!
