major props to Surveyor for being so helpful! Wouldn't have been very stuck with no idea what part was faulty if it wasn't for him.
Hope you get it sorted as quickly as possible, it's a horrible process having to fault find individual parts. Have to echo the praise as well Surveyor, just shows why I love this community
As the thread went on I was saying to myself "this guy needs to get somebody round to help".
Prop's to Surveyor for taking one for the team - mikeyparkster, when your pc is working, leave it alone or the next visit by Surveyor may not go down so well
Formatted + re-installed a work colleagues laptop on Saturday (nothing in comparison to hardware fault finding) but spent most of my time twiddling my thumbs waiting for patches etc. to download over there 512k DSL
