Not a problem, I don't take it to heart anyway and it wasn't that abusive. Seemed like sour grapes at the time because I didn't know what you were up to.

I did wonder why you didn't come after me at the end of the round when I peeked round the corner but that explains it if you were waiting to stick a knife in my neck.
 
Eck well I finally got it purchased, and unfortunately what a waste of £40 for me. The motion sickness I get is ten times worse then from BF2, I could at least manage an hour of that without feeling too bad.

Half an hour last night had me in bed with a migraine and feeling like vomiting.

Do you get the motion sickness from any other games? :confused:

I've got a decent PC, running it at 2560x1600 on AUTO graphics settings (mixture of Ultra and High). It's not choppy but I'd also say it's not 60fps+ constant either.

The main problem I'm having, much like in Counterstrike which I've never been any good at either, is that I'm always finding myself in the wrong place at the wrong time, running into spots that the enemy knows I'm coming from, etc.

I'm also having real problems with friend or foe identification, leading to hesitation on my part, which invariably means I lose out because they don't hesitate.

Really don't know what I need to do to improve, but right now it's pretty depressing to end up mid-table every game with a barely positive K/D ratio. It feels to me like I'm the only guy on the server who doesn't know what he's doing, with everyone else - even people on single digit levels, like me - doing much better.

Play on normal mode server where friendly fire is off, no need to hesitate now just blast anyone that gets in your way friend or foe.

Remember most players have OP unlocks now. Try and stick with one gun and unlock the IRNV scope, your k/D will improve dramatically with this scope.

Turn motion blur off and up your FOV

This is what other people have said about helping with motion sickness.
 
I still cant make my mind up whether I prefer Normal or Hardcore.

Normal seems quite well balanced much better than BC2.

Hardcore is still good however, you nearly always get a kill with the right amount of bullets whereas you do oftern get a "run away" on normal at a distance which just wouldnt happen with a UMP45 or M4

I basically killed someone who was on a killing spree and got called one of the most unpleasent words in the book which you will occasionally hear at a football match between rival fans, i don't expect a kick or ban, that would be going too far in my book, but a warning would be enough.

No admins were on the server at the time though, so i just carried on playing, and in the end, said person started complaining about how **** he was playing, so the joke was on him in the end.

And you will be a complete pussy too. If this game has any future they need to remove this crap now.

If you check out my stats, each class is very close together in points because i get 10k points for one class, and then move to the next etc.

Assault: 40k.
Engineer: 31k.
Support: 30k.
Recon: 30k.

I'm still using the first weapons you receive, because i'm unlocking everything for each gun, creates a sense of fun for me tbh, although, the Recon weapons aren't exactly a joy to behold.

I don't believe in this glorified ******** where you stick to one gun because it improves your K/D, i believe in improving each class to it's full potential to help your team and create diversity.

I've been playing nothing but assault since getting the game I still don't know if there is any difference between a recently killed teammate with just a skull above them or one with a circle and lightening bolt, I still seem to be able to revive both. There must be some difference?

M249 + silencer + IRNV + foregrip = much fun :D

I find the IRNV a bit bizarre. I get the IR so it can work during daylight, but an IR scope works just like an "invisible" torch it doesn't work like thermal imaging. Anything that works on thermals would be of little use in daylight, you just wouldn't see the nice glowing blobs that you do in this game.

It looks more like Multispectral Imaging, so its basically a thermal scope and an NV scope with some clever processing that creates a composite image of them both. They do exist, infact Hyperspectral imaging makes Multispectral look positively old fashioned but I've not seen them as a scope as I understand it they are normally mounted on vehicles.

Its a shame the games mechanic does not allow for corpses to be left behind, then IR scope abusers would probably spend half their time shooting at still warm stiffs. Game should have a thermal nade unlock so you can blind the **** out of IR scope users, and for more than just a few seconds.
 
Been playing a lot since release. Currently rank 26. I still cannot fly planes/helicopters for **** with my mouse+keyboard.

Anyone know if the microsoft sidewinder will work on this? I still have it somewhere in the loft but it's about 10 years old:D
