Think I was in that metro game was a good game, we were stuck at 1st elevators at b and sides for ages, i decided to have a mad rush up the 2nd set behind being sure i would get slaughtered but no one was there, hid while my team could spawn on me and a few more rush the 2nd elevator, ended taking the cafe for a bit from behind i think that slowed the enemy down enough for the main to push past b while they retook cafe.

Yeah we held B briefly before that, but it was the push on A that really helped turn the tide.
I've been thinking the same about my sig. Have you added yourself on the Origin name thread or joined one of the platoons?
Just played Hardcore for the first time. It's fantastic, so bloody easy to kill people and level up! haha. But you gotta have your whits about ya, or it's easy to be killed.
Hardcore + Metro = Win
Hardcore. So awesome. It also makes sure you keep your head down and stops you running out into the open knowing that it wont take many rounds to down you. Much better tactical play
Finally had a great game of BF3 tonight, a squad that actually was a squad and I even got revived a few times! Great comeback to win from about 100 tickets behind, really enjoyable game, when bf3's good it's really good.
But there was an awful lot of raging and frustration on the way - I was the king of the assists before that - always the kill assist instead of the kill. So annoying when you shoot someone 4 or 5 times and they hit you once or twice and you're dead. Repeatedly. So sick of shooting people first, them killing me and seeing they're on 2 health - I got a 98 kill assist and a 99 kill assist tonight, then once I just tried to empty the clip of automatic, I died (as usual) and after I was dead it came up in white: "100 kill assist"! WTF is a 100 kill assist? I can see them in Dice HQ: 'he 100% killed someone there, but let's just mess with him some more'
Get thee to a hardcore server! People die when you shoot them!
Yeah I'm in OcUK #3 platoon and on the names thread. My online name has always been Deep_3z going back to Quake 2, but I have had so many accounts for ages and lost my old email address so can't have Deep_3z here and can't even get it on EA so I have to be Deep_3zz. Have added it to sig now though.
I love rushing that 2nd set, if you can make it up you're guaranteed to wipe out a fair few from behind.
Think we were in the same squad for some of the maps.

Enjoyed the game a little more today playing online with a friend, I might get used to this.
Did discover that there's no VOIP (wha!?) I don't like the way everything it always exploding all the time either.
Definitely no BF2, I wish these were the days when there was a good demographic on the BF2 servers, that truly was the best PC game ever before it got hacked and all but the hackers left.

Oh, and my PC really Isn't up to this.

I'm having to play on the lowest settings and it still lags from time to time, think a memory upgrade is enough? If it's not It'll be wasted money as I'll then have to get DDR3...

I'm on a AMD 955 quad at stock with 4gb DDR3. I have a GTS250 graphics card. It auto selects mostly medium settings with a couple of low ones. I think ram will improve your performance though I don't know how much effect my extra 2 cores will be having.
Yep, +2GB and a quad-core will make a load of difference with your setup.

If you're playing with a mate create a party and invite him to it on Battlelog, you'll get VOIP then. I've no idea why they thought this was a better idea than squad based VOIP.

I wonder if 4GB of DDR2 and a Q6600 would do me? I can probably buy a G0 that'll do 3.4 on air if I'm picky...
It is getting very tiresome now, last few games i have been unable to spawn with squad so spend half the round trying to catch up with them!
Noshahr Canals seems to be the worst one by a mile, wherever i choose it almost always spawns me at deployment.
Nether the less, some good games just now.
I think if there was some kind of spawn protection or if the spawning system was overhauled(as imo it is broken) I would be very happy.

What annoys me the most is when you select a squad member to spawn on and a microsecond later they die, so you end up spawning aaaaaaaaalllll the way back at base.
