think this a bit of an unfair opinion....i can;t see how you can compare, seeing as you can't play on our server :p
 
There really is not much point me playing atm tbh. the last few rounds just emphasized it really. No point in flying because i haven't unlocked anything so will be killed too easily, and can't spawn because i usually spawn in the enemies line of sight, just played a round on Grand Bazaar and was killed around 4 times within a second of spawning so started spawning at deployment, but the other team was camping just outside it so i could hardly get out of it.

Plus most other players have op unlocks anyway so most situations are decided by whoever has played the game the longest!

I have been playing on 32 player servers and they are much better however BF is a team game, i can't believe how broken the spawning is, there is literally no point in spawning on your team mates unless maybe you are communicating on mumble or whatever. Same goes for spawning at a capture point, the amount of times i have spawned staring at someone 5 feet away is laughable(sometimes in my favour, sometimes against it)

The spawning is the only thing about the game i find to really rage about, anything else i can just take as part of the game.


^^ It is slightly sad that the game with apparently the biggest maps is better suited to 16-24 players:(

ay unfortunately there have been a few issues with the servers regarding implementing bans. but think it might be sorted now.... hopefully anyway :)
 
Well i just had one match with the server linked.

Best game i have had and thats only because i was drifting around all the map in my buggy whilst being shot at :D

I need to get back to my racing games.
 
I find 32 players to be the sweet spot tbh, any more and it's just a cluster**** and not really all that fun.

Your more than welcome to go on the server in my sig, it's usually quite busy but pretty quiet tonight.

I only play 32 man and even then I get a serious case of "fog of war". I get no sense of there being a frontline or co-ordinated teamplay. People just chase flags randomly and often without support. I rarely even see other members of my squad remotely close to one and other on a map.

ffs just been playing on SMOGSY's server and got disconnected when I was in a really good position!

Ive tried turning of UPnP or whatever its called and its still bloody disconnecting!! :mad:

For a game that im really loving, im also massively hating it aswell...
 
Anyone else having murder trying to get a joystick or gamepad working in this? My preference is certainly not for a gamepad for vehicles but would love to get my joystick working.
 
I have to say that despite all my moaning about spawns, Smogsy's server is imo the best i have played on. I think it is as much the maps fault tbh, some of them are just not very well designed imo

I have the T-flight Hotas and i have given up, it just doesn't work. I'm sure they advertised full joystick support before release?

My XBOX controller, was mapped and working as soon as i plugged it in. I haven't changed from default buttons though.

That is the reason why I don't really like Conquest all that much, though it is much better with 32 players. With Rush at least you work towards a clear objective, although even there you have nitwits who just care about their bloody K/D ratio and treat it like a deathmatch. Squad Rush 4 vs. 4 is good fun.
