^^ I keep seeing guys with some eagle image and no rank number, no idea what that's all about.

Edit: I've found a list of all the ranks, that eagle thing must be colonel

After rank 45, Comes Colonel 1 Star, and the rank goes up by one, so Colonel 2 Star, Colonel 3 Star and etc... All the way up to Colonel 100 Star!

My good lady bought this for our anniversary. I did say to her buying this game will cause our relationship some complications lol.

Looking forward to getting on it as I havent even played it yet. Just hope im not at a major disadvantage as I wont have anything unlocked compared to other players.......

Not really! Just test out all the classes, stick with 1 for a while and work on it :)

not really a disadvantage, sure you will get picked off a lot but youll soon get a scope (10 kills) its a great game

Yeah true. Ive played all the Battlefields since BF1943. I dont usualy wait this long to get it. I'll probably stick with assault and hopefully level up quite quick

Just hope it doesnt take long to get the AN-94 and Red dot sight.

AN-94 is the second last Assault unlock, requires 166k XP to unlock it :p.

Oh what !!!????

That is a pain in the ***. I Loved that gun on BFBC2. Its gonna take me a while to find something that I like in that case. I feel a bit depressed about that now. :(

I suppose in a way its a good way to try some others out. Any of you guys got any thoughts of good starter weapons for assualt ? I only ask as I pretty much only ever used the AN-94 on BFBC2.

Highest ive seen then is "Colonel 3 Star"

Wonder what the XP gap is between each colonel rank ??

assault in this = medic.

so do you mean that, or the REAL assault. big guns, lotsa ammo? :D
 
Can't remember the map name, but it has checkpoint B called alleyway and there are no helis or jets. Basically, if you secure alleway and just stay there as medic, you can rack up HUGE score reviving and healing people

sienne crossing, or somthing. that dosnt allways work lol depends what the teams are like.
 
I wouldn't stay at B on Seine Crossing, I'd get my hands on C asap because then you have very fast access to both A and D. The only problem is C is very hard to hold as there is 3 different entry points to that site, D is also a nightmare at times.
 
I find seine crossing a fun map. You can easily just run round the map in a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction and get massive points that way, especially if both teams are decent.

My like the AEK for Medic and the M249 for Support. Don't understand all this Recon stuff I like to be right in the action.
